Aurelia and Buck stood in their living room with a smile on their faces as Leah took a look around the house. Ajax sat on the couch nervously shaking his leg looking at the couple, Buck gave him a reassuring smile patting his shoulder. Leah turned around to the couple smiling at them, Aurelia felt the excitement in her chest gripping onto Buck's hand. the days for the meeting had felt like forever, Buck and Aurelia spent those days prepping one of the guest rooms which was going to be Ajax's room with the help of Bobby and Athena.
"Ajax is going to be happy here." Leah smiled, Aurelia silently cheered walking over to Ajax giving him a high five.
"uh, so what's next?" Buck asks.
"i know you two are full time firefighters, so i was wondering where he would go while you guys have overnight shifts." Leah says.
"my stepmom, sister and sister in law agreed to let him stay with them while we're working." Aurelia says thankful for Athena, May and Maddie.
Leah nodded looking at Ajax, "ready to move in, kid?"
Aurelia, Buck and Ajax smiled widely, Ajax jumped up from the couch hugging Aurelia tightly pulling Buck into the hug as well. Leah laughed at their excitement smiling widely at them. Ajax pulled away from the hug, rushing to Leah hugging her next thanking her multiple times.
"how soon can he move in?" Buck asks.
"whenever he wants. how about a few hours? so he can grab his things?" Leah asks.
"i'm ready! see you guys later!" Ajax waved to the two rushing out the door.
Leah laughed following him out the door, Buck laughed loudly once he shut the door rushing to Aurelia picking her up spinning her around. she laughed wrapping her arms around his shoulders holding onto him, he set her down leaving kisses all over her face. Aurelia and Buck were grateful to have Ajax apart of their family.
in the few hours Ajax was gone, Aurelia and Buck rushed to the store to buy a few things for his room. when Ajax returned he did his laundry while Aurelia showed him a few decorations to put up in his room that was now clean.
"okay! i think we did it." Buck smiled staring at the new bed frame he and Aurelia bought for Ajax.
Ajax tilted his head seeing the wooden part of the bed missing, "i think we're missing something."
Buck turned around seeing the wooden panels on the side of the room, "oh."
Aurelia laughed from her spot on the floor as she and Ajax were folding clothes. the boy smiled grabbing the already folded clothes putting them in the drawer and took a look around the room. there was a tv against the wall, the dark wooden dresser right underneath it, his bed was pushed against the wall with a nightstand next to it. a desk near the window where he could sit and do his homework, Buck gave him his tablet so he has something to use for school. Ajax was grateful for all of it.
