"the bathroom door is locked." Bobby, Buck and Aurelia made their way through the man's apartment seeing the shut door.
"Eddie, can you move her or not?" Bobby spoke into his walkie.
"not there yet, Cap." Eddie responded.
"is she clear of the door?"
"sure is, Cap."
Bobby turned to man who agreed to knock down the door, Aurelia and Buck made their way slamming the door open rushing in seconds later.
"oh, God. he's never gonna wanna see me again. i'm sorry. i'll pay to fix that." the woman who was stuck says.
"okay, guys, let's try to gently pull her through. ma'am, i need you to exhale." the woman tried to exhale as the firefighters tried to open the window more, "okay, stop. she's not gonna come out the way she went in." Bobby says.
"Cap, this is original wood. we can't just poop out the top panel." all eyes went to Buck who quickly winced, "pop- we, uh, can't just pop out the top panel. sorry." he apologized to the woman.
"we're gonna have to take apart the frame. guys, we're gonna need the saws." Bobby spoke into the walkie to Hen and Chim who were downstairs.
"you're gonna cut the window?" Tessa asks, "this just keeps getting worse."
"ma'am, just try to stay calm," Aurelia assures the woman, "how's she looking, Hen?"
"vitals are good. just breathing a little heavy. are you in pain?" Hen asks.
"no, but has anyone ever died of actual shame? i'm sorry, Gary. this is not how i wanted our first date to go."
"it can only get better from here, right?" Gary says from the hallway, "i've always wanted a bay window."
"he's probably never gonna wanna speak to me again, and you have no idea how hard it is to meet someone these days." the woman says.
"we got pretty lucky right, Aure?" Buck looked at the redhead who playfully rolled her eyes, "Eddie might've finally met someone special. then he went and bit her head off. now she'll never talk to him again and will probably flunk his kid."
all eyes turned to Buck who let everyone know about the incident that happened with Chris at his school earlier in the day making Eddie snap at his teacher, Aurelia looked at the two and shrugged, "you kinda did, Eddie." she whispered to her best friend.
"saw's on its way up, Cap."
"are you guys using a saw?" Gary asks, Aurelia turned nodding to the man.
"is she gonna be okay?" he asks her.
"she will. don't worry." Aurelia smiled letting him know.
"you and him are dating?" Gary whispered pointed to Buck, Aurelia nodded keeping him company.
"how long?"
"about a month. we've known each other for a few years. you just kinda know when you find your person." she removed her gloves keeping her eyes on Buck, "you look like you found yours. the way you look at her."
"i- i think she's amazing." Gary says his eyes never leaving Tessa's.
Bobby and Buck cut out the window pulling the woman out, Aurelia smiled at the woman giving her a small nod letting her know everything was going to be okay making her way to Buck.
"can you take a deep breath for me?" Bobby asks Tessa who nodded doing what she was told.
"any pain in your ribs?"
"i'm okay." Tessa assured Bobby.
"you good? all right." Bobby says as she left the bathroom as the three started to clean up.
"i'll call a lyft."
"oh. or you- or you could stay." Gary tells Tessa earning smiles from Aurelia, Bobby and Buck.

Buck wanted to take his and Aurelia's relationship slow, by the amount of time they spent together and how much she stayed at his apartment. Buck wanted Aurelia to move in with him, she technically already did live with him and the only time she went home was to check on her apartment, get the mail, and visit Sofia.
Aurelia had decided to stay at her apartment for a few days. after multiple kisses Aurelia watched Buck make his way to his jeep giving her another wave. Aurelia made her way into the building walking up to her apartment. she wasn't used to the quiet anymore since Buck was always talking and laughing about something or running around the loft with Pongo.
once she reached her door, Sofia's door flew open and arms wrapped around Aurelia hugging her.
"Sof!" the redhead laughed at her best friend.
"i haven't seen you in forever." Sofia laughed pulling away taking Aurelia's face in her hands, "oh you have the look of love."
"there's a look?" Aurelia pulled away opening her door.
"yeah. your eyes are sparkly and you also haven't been home in days." Sofia followed Aurelia inside.
"i'm sorry about that-"
"shut up. no. don't you dare apologize for staying at your boyfriends place and spending time with him."
Aurelia smiled sitting down on the couch with Sofia resting her head on her shoulder, "i missed you, Sof."
"i missed you too." Sofia held her hand tightly.
hours passed, Aurelia and Sofia were still sitting on the couch talking about work. Veronica ended up joining the girls and the three all laid on the couch laughing. their peacefulness was soon interrupted by the door opening revealing Buck and Knight which Aurelia still wasn't used to seeing the two together.
"hello!" Knight smiled widely throwing himself on the three girls.
"Eddie needs our help. we're building Chris a skateboard." Knight says.
"we got everything in Knight's truck." Buck added.
the three girls looked at each other and smiled.

"was this your idea?" Aurelia asked Buck covering the skateboard the five built.
Buck grinned shrugging his shoulders, "maybe."
"you're amazing." she whispered placing a gentle kiss on his cheek.
"they're here!" Knight called out running over to the couple followed by Carla.
Aurelia smiled watching Chris and Eddie get closer and closer. her heart warmed up at the boys face when he saw everyone and the skateboard. her eyes never leaving Buck's as he, Eddie and Chris ran around the skate park. Sofia stood next to Aurelia linking her arm with hers.
"Aure! come on!" Chris called out to the redhead making her smile widen.
