Aurelia jumped around in excitement setting up all the Christmas decorations all over the living room. Ajax was currently putting on the Christmas onesies on Pongo and Perdita with Madison, who he officially asked to be his girlfriend. this year was extra special since it was Ajax's first holiday with Aurelia and Buck, Buck was currently setting up the tree in the corner with the lights. everyone was dressed in Christmas pajamas that Aurelia had bought earlier in the day.
"okay! i think that's all the decorations, the rest of the garage is halloween decorations." Aurelia jumped over the couch.
"you had all of these in the apartment you lived in before you two bought the house?" Ajax asked standing up from the floor.
"yes," she nodded opening a box seeing the ornaments, "and i bought so much more."
Ajax looked at Buck who held in a laugh, "this is your third Christmas here, how did you get so much stuff?"
"i stopped asking your mother that the day we started dating, which by the way, makes a year since we started dating." Buck smiled at Aurelia, she smiled feeling her cheeks heat up starting to put ornaments onto the tree.
"aw!" Madison smiled sitting on the couch.
"you two have been dating for only a year? i thought it was so much more." Ajax sat on the sofa.
"we've been friends for a while before we started dating, i was scared to fall in love especially with him because i didn't want anything to change between us and last Christmas i knew i was ready." Aurelia tried to hold back her blushing, not turning around from the tree.
Buck immediately noticed, his smile widening and kissed her cheek repeatedly making her smile widen, "best christmas present ever."
"and now you're getting married. that's so cute!" Madison grinned widely at the two.
"Madison, come help me get the cookies out of the oven." Buck set down the empty box of lights, Madison jumped up from the sofa following Buck into the kitchen.
silence filled the living room making Aurelia turn around to see Ajax looking through the boxes of decorations, a faint smile appeared on his face as he looked through the house seeing everything decorated.
"you okay, bud?" Aurelia made her way over to him, sitting next to him.
Ajax nodded leaning back into the sofa, "yeah, i'm good, mom. just really happy i get to spend Christmas with you and dad."
