Season's greetings my dear readers/followers 🎉🎄❤️

I am so very sorry for ghosting you guys these past few weeks. With Christmas and the issues with my family my life has just been one roller coaster ride after the other. It's been hard to cope and I felt so alone most of the time. But now things are—dare I jinx it—slightly better.

Anyway, to make up for it here's a double update for you guys. I hope you'll enjoy it and thank you for all your patience and support. I love you all so much ❤️❤️❤️

And now without further adieu, onto the chapter!!!

As it turns out wearing three jackets under my dress turned out to be a brilliant idea, because in the sixty seconds I was acting no one guessed what I was doing. When I told them they applauded at my Oscar worthy performance.

For the next two hours we played all sorts of baby games. There was a baby food race where the participating guests had to race to see who could finish a jar of carrot puree in under thirty seconds. It was messy and loud but full of fun.

We also played a game called 'My Water Broke!' where each player was given a drink with a tiny plastic baby in an ice cube. The objective of the game was to see who could melt the ice and get the baby out first, shouting 'My water broke!' as soon as the baby was in her hand.

Unfortunately Sabrina shouted the phrase a little too loudly, causing Damen and all the pregnant women's husbands to fly out of the parlor room in a state of wide-eyed panic. Riley somehow managed to snap their facial expressions on camera, much to Damen's annoyance.

The third game we played was something called 'Pass the Parcel' which was a classic British party game. With all the guests sitting in a circle a large gift wrapped parcel was passed around while music played in the background.

Whoever was holding the parcel when the music stopped would have to tear off a layer of gift paper. When the music started back up again the parcel was passed around once more. The person who unwrapped the prize inside would get to keep it. As it turns out I got the prize which was an adorable panda bear plushie. Seeing how pudgy he was I decided named him Po, after the one from Kung Fu Panda.

And if my husband didn't have any objection, my new friend will be going on the loveseat in our bedroom.

The next few games were a lot of fun. We played Hot Potato with a ball, Baby Scrabble and Blind Diaper Changing Challenge, all of which were a scream. By four thirty the festivities ended and it was time for all the guests to leave.

As we said goodbye we gave them each a mini gift bag containing cellophane wrapped heart shaped cookies, assorted candies in chiffon organza bags, bath salts, scented candles and handmade soaps as well as a bottle of champagne. As soon as the last guest had departed the maids began to straighten up the place while all of us went to our rooms for a rest.

After taking off my shoes I laid flat on my back and let out a deep sigh. "What a day."
Valentino removed his jacket and loosened his tie before laying next to me. "You did a good job on the shower. All the guests were very pleased with how everything turned out."

I nodded and closed my eyes, feeling my body slowly shutting down on me. I woke up super early this morning to prepare for the shower so to say I was tired was a huge understatement. And running on only six hours of sleep I was utterly spent.

Noticing my level of fatigue Valentino stroked my hair. "Go ahead and take a nap. I know your little body must be exhausted."
I smiled and took his hand in mine to kiss it. "How is it that you always know exactly what I need, when I need it?"
He kissed me on my lips and pulled the warm covers over me. "Call it husband's intuition."
