Amy's POV:
"Leaving so soon?"
As I'm waiting for the elevator I'm suddenly interrupted and I turn to my right to see where the voice came from.
Ian.
"A bit crowded in here." I say to him while reaching over to press the elevator button again.
"I agree. But the question still looms on whether or not you'll take me up on my offer to atleast letting me take you to dinner?" He says to me with a sly smile.
"See I dont know that that is such a good idea." I say to him with a small smirk displayed at my lips just as Mikayla and Violet come up behind him.
"One date. One night. And I guarantee you that you won't regret it." He responds back.
I can't help but smile at his remark. I truly didn't want to go on a date after everything that has been happening between those two, but maybe I did deserve a night out. It had been years since I last dated someone let alone gotten into a relationship with someone and so I decided I would take him up on it. Maybe it was the alcoholic drinks that were creeping their way into that all so common tipsy feeling or maybe it was the combination of his ever dashing smile that convinced me; although deep down my subconscious snared at me reminding me that the real truth was that maybe I just wanted to go on the date to potentially get Mr. Anderson jealous.
'It may not work' I thought to myself but it was a worth a shot and if I ended having a good time then what's the harm I think.
"Alright." I say to him while smiling and looking at the ground and then looking back to him to finish my sentence. Just as I look up at Ian I noticed Mr. Anderson is staring right at me just as Caroline and one of the benefactors are speaking with him or at-least at him since he was occupied with staring at me. I knew he was within an ear shot distance and suddenly the courage within me rose and I began to smile while staring at Mr. Anderson just as my eyes glazed over to Ian who was standing in front of me. "One night. One dinner and that is all."
Just then the elevator door opens and I walk forward into the elevator car with Mikayla and Violet following suit.
Ian stands in front of the elevator cart with an ever dashing smile and just then the elevator doors start to close.
"Wait, but I don't know where you live so that I can pick you up?" He says in a rush.
I smirk and respond back with the perfect response.
"Well I didn't say it would be easy did I now, Ian."
And with that the elevator doors close and we begin our descent on to the bottom floor.
"Girlllll you are on fire." Mikayla says to me with a sheepish grin on her face.
"I agree with Mik, I have never seen any woman handle so many people all in one night let alone two men." Violet follows shortly after.
I let out a slight chuckle before responding.
"Thank you ladies, I appreciate the compliment however, it was well over due with all of these people running around wild over one man." I say to them as we walk out into the lobby determined on where to go for dinner after the night.
****************
I wake up to the sun shining in on my face and I turn away from it hoping I would be able to fall back asleep but shortly after I realize that it's useless.
I decide to get up and check my phone on my night stand and I notice it is 10am.
I disconnect my phone from the charger and notice I have a few messages pending.
