I trust him

Amy's POV:

The ride was rather short seeming as though we arrived to the office building, but it mostly consisted of him giving someone commands over the phone.

As I stepped out of the car I tried not to let my emotions show that I'm confused as to why we're here at the office.

As we're walking towards the entrance of the building he finally puts his phone away.

I couldn't help but to shiver a bit at the sudden wind that just passed by us.

As we're waiting for the elevator I suddenly feel my phone vibrating in my purse.

I dig it out of my purse and see that's it's Mia calling.

I mutter a quick excuse me as I answer the call, while slightly taking a step back as he presses the elevator button.

"Hello"

"Hey, are you okay?!, Mikayla filled me in on what happened last night." Mia responds

"Uhh yeah, I am. Sorry I didn't respond, time got away from me." I respond back hoping she doesn't ask me anything too crazy.

"I'm sorry too! I didn't think Aiden going over there would cause this much of an issue for you. He said that he wanted to make sure you were okay and that he really did want to catch up with you. Which is why he went over there." She finishes sounding a bit upset with herself.

"It's okay. We can talk about it tomorrow."

"Ohh.. are you with Mr. Dark & Dangerous?" She questions with some amusement behind it.

"Uh huh." Is all I can manage at the moment considering that I am now under his scrutinizing gaze as we enter the elevator cart.

"Ohh i see. Okay well have fun, and be careful but call me tomorrow. I'm actually going on a date with Liam tonight." She finishes off practically almost squealing in my ear.

"I will. I promise."

"Okay, bye."

"Bye." I say to her as I place my phone back in my purse.

"Was it Aiden?" His tone comes out angry and a complete change of pace compared to his tone when he picked me up.

I roll my eyes as I turn to look at him.

"Was it Genoveve that called you earlier?" I respond back with just as much anger behind my words.

He turns to face me and his lips portray a ghost of a smile as he steps closer to me.

"The phone call.... It's part of the surprise." He says to me while still smiling. "Now, answer me." His smile fades as he takes one step closer to me, and his scent once again invades my sense of smell and almost makes me stumble backwards due to his scent.

"No it wasn't... it was Mia." I respond with an attitude as I take one step backwards before turning to face the elevator doors once again.

The elevator doors open and I take a quick step out just to get away from his scent so I can breathe.

When suddenly, I realize that we're on the rooftop with a helipad sporting an all black sleek helicopter, and it causes me to stop in my tracks.

I hear a slight chuckle from behind me and a warm hand takes my hand from behind and drives me forward.

I tried hard to stand in place but to no avail.

"Mr. Ander.—- Damon?!!...Where are you taking me?" The rats hidden in the sewers underground could hear the panic within my voice all the way up here, just as we're approaching the active helicopter.
