Amy's POV:
As I exit out of the bedroom I am astonished as to how large this entire penthouse is. This must be one of the top two floors where he lives, that Mikayla and Violet filled me in on when we arrived here for the party on Friday.
It's filled with such a beautiful set up with white marble floors similar to the ones in the bathroom, cool undertones of warm brown and nude color palettes with the couches and the coffee table to match. Even the portraits on the walls screamed minimalism and tranquility among the home. Although nothing compared to the tall paned glass windows that overlooked out onto Manhattan. It absolutely made the view worth the while. The way that these windows are panned out throughout the penthouse is astonishing.
Mr. Anderson is walking down the spiral staircase when he notices me and proceeds to walk over towards me.
"Thank you for letting me shower and get ready. But most importantly thank you for allowing me to stay here in one of your guest bedrooms. I truly appreciate it." I respond to him with confidence now that I've showered, brushed my teeth and that I am properly dressed.
I still am not too happy with how I spoke to him earlier while looking like a raccoon but regardless I decided I would be getting over this man immediately.
"You didn't stay in a guest bedroom. You stayed in my bedroom." He says very nonchalant which causes me to almost bulge my eyes out.
Just as I am about to respond to him he suddenly gets a call on his phone and he says excuse me before stepping to the side and takes the call.
I can't believe I stayed in his bedroom? Where did he sleep? Did he sleep next to me?
No way. I'm sure he slept somewhere else. I quickly get rid of the idea out of my head I take this opportunity to check my purse for my phone only to find that my phone is dead.
Great. I can't help but think to myself, because now I have to wait until I'm done with whatever this is today so that I can go home. I hope he gets off of the phone soon because I still can't fathom why he brought me here and most importantly I don't think I can continue being here alone with him in his own house.
When he returns from the call I notice that his mood has changed a bit. He seems irritable almost and it must be from the phone call that he just received.
"Mr. Anderson I really do appreciate everything that you did last night but I can go on my own. I'm sure you have plenty of errands to attend to or other important things to do. So I can go now." I finish off.
"My errands revolve around you. My priority today is you. Is that understood?" He says to me which although is a question, it's beautifully phrased to resemble a rhetorical question.
It was his three piece suit that demanded attention although deep down I knew it was the powerfully lean body that was inside of the suit that made me sweat underneath this outfit.
"Yes." Is all I can manage to say because anything else would've sounded like I was fawning over him.
"Good. Now let's go it's about to be 10am and we have a few errands to run today. For starters we need to get you something to eat."
The intense magnetism that was currently coursing through the air right now is something that needs to be studied at Oxford.
I was about to interject when I could see his face was not expecting a challenge from me but instead compliance.
"Yes, Mr. Anderson." I respond as the dutiful assistant that I am. Despite the convoluting mess we're in right now with me being in his home after this entire debacle.
