Amy's POV:

I was grateful that it was Friday because it meant he was coming back today. After the events of Tuesday night, I still couldn't believe he'd chosen me over them. I couldn't help that I felt happy inside at his choice. It solidified to me that he truly did want this relationship to work out. It's been three days since he's been gone. He needed to visit the sister properties in person to close the contracts with Caroline and I told him that I understood why he needed to be gone.

I suddenly received a text message from him.

I'll land tonight at 7pm. I'll pick you up after I shower and change. I'll be there at 10pm. Enjoy your girls night, I've missed you.

A smile displays across my face as Mikayla walks in asking if I'm ready to go. I nod my head at her just as I shoot him a quick text back.

I look forward to seeing you. It seems as though I've grown accustomed to sleeping with you. These past few nights the bed has felt way too big. I've missed you more than you know.

"Let's go." I say to Mikayla as she explains to me that Violet is already at the Spa with Rebecca.

Another message comes in.

Don't worry I'll remedy the problem immediately Ms. Monroe, among other things.

My smile grows wider as I shake my head and continue walking towards the elevator with Mikayla.

"Wow. You ladies sure know how to put on a good show." I say to the ladies after seeing everyone dressed and ready to go.

Curtesy of Mr. Anderson as usual, we received our usual treatment at the Spa except this time the lovely Rebecca joined us as well as Mia. It was nice for a change of pace as we got to know Rebecca better.

It turns out Mr. Anderson was the first one to ever give her a chance regarding her vision of opening up a spa that catered to the many beauty services the beauty industry offers. She was able to thrive as he placed her at the helm of the Spa and was able to garner over a million dollars within the first 3 months, after two years they were able to open up several establishments across the U.S. It turned out to be a coincidence when she found out that her husband and him were partners on a few properties. They've been business partners for six years and today they've been able to expand immensely. She managed to state that Peyton actually chose several of the candidates that worked for the salon, stating that she always had that keen sense about someone. Her tone slightly changed as she touched on the tragedy that occurred 18 months ago with Peyton.

Nevertheless, she reminded us that tonight was all about a girls night and to enjoy life seeming as though it can drastically change from one moment to the next.

She mentioned two of her other friends would be joining us as well, to which we didn't mind.

Thankfully we finished work rather early today and we decided that we'd start the girls night out a bit earlier than expected.

"Honey, when Damon sees you tonight he won't be able to take his hands off you." Rebecca's words caused a laughter to stir amongst the girls, myself included.
