The sun blazed down on Bondi Beach, its golden rays bouncing off the sparkling waves. The seven members of Stray Kids were sprawled on the sand, enjoying the rare break in their hectic schedules. Chan, as always, had insisted they visit his home country, and no one had complained.

"This is heaven," Jisung sighed, flipping onto his stomach and burying his face in his towel. "We need more breaks like this."

Hyunjin tilted his sunglasses down, watching a group of surfers in the distance. "We're living the dream. Who needs fame when you have this?"

Seungmin smirked, tossing a frisbee to Jeongin. "Don't let our fans hear you say that."

Chan, who had been scanning the horizon, suddenly sat up straight. "Wait... what's that?"

The others followed his gaze to where a figure lay half-submerged in the shallow waves. At first glance, it looked like a person, but something was off. The tailfin glistening in the sunlight made them freeze.

"Is that a...?" Jeongin started, eyes wide.

"No way," Changbin muttered, already standing. "It looks like—holy crap, is that a mermaid?"

"Or merman," Minho corrected, squinting as he jogged closer. The group hurried after him, a mix of curiosity and disbelief etched on their faces.

As they approached, the details became clearer. The figure had short blond hair that clung to his face, and his pale skin shimmered faintly, almost otherworldly. The lower half of his body was unmistakably a tail, its iridescent scales catching the sunlight. But what drew their attention most was the angry, bleeding gash on his side.

"Hey, are you okay?" Chan crouched down, his voice gentle but firm.

The merman stirred, his eyes fluttering open. "Help... please..." he whispered, his voice barely audible over the waves.

"Stay still," Minho said, his tone unusually soft as he knelt beside Chan. "You're hurt. We'll help you."

The merman winced, his gaze flickering to the group. "I can't... stay here," he said, his voice trembling. "If the tide pulls me back, I won't survive."

"What do we do?" Hyunjin asked, looking panicked.

"We pull him out of the water," Chan decided, already reaching for the merman's shoulders. "But carefully."

"Wait, are we sure about this?" Seungmin hesitated. "What if he—"

"Just help!" Minho snapped, cutting him off. He slipped his hands under the merman's torso, ignoring the wet, slick feel of the scales. "Come on. On three."

With the others' help, they dragged the merman onto the warm sand, just far enough from the waves. As soon as his tail was fully out of the water, a transformation began. The shimmering scales faded, and his tail split into two human legs.

"What the—" Jisung started, but the words died in his throat.

"Are you seeing this?" Jeongin whispered, his jaw practically on the ground.

The merman—no, man—groaned, curling onto his side. His skin was still pale and glowing faintly, but his legs were unmistakably human. His injury, however, hadn't healed. Blood stained the sand beneath him.

"Hey, can you hear me?" Minho asked, leaning closer. "What's your name?"

The man's eyes, now a vivid shade of green, locked onto Minho's. "Felix," he said weakly.

Minho felt his breath catch. "Felix... okay. We're going to help you. You're safe now."

Felix's lips curved into the faintest hint of a smile before his eyes closed, and he fell unconscious.
