"In a world built on blood, he became their reason to come home."

Rain hammered down on the broken roof of the brothel, the flickering hallway lights casting uneven shadows against the blood-stained walls. Minho moved with calculated steps, his gloved hands tucked in his long black coat. He didn't flinch at the muffled cries still echoing in the distance—those were being handled by Chan and Hyunjin.

"Last sweep," Seungmin said, eyes flicking over his tablet as it mapped out the last room. "Far end. Locked. Might be something."

Minho didn't reply. He only glanced at Changbin, who immediately stepped forward.

"On it."

The metal door was rusted and dented. Changbin raised his leg and slammed his boot against the lock. Once. Twice. On the third kick, the frame gave way with a groan and the door cracked open.

The room inside was dim, just a single lamp buzzing in the corner. And on the stained mattress, barely breathing, lay a boy.

Blonde.

Freckles.

Covered in dirt, blood, and ripped clothing.

Minho didn't move at first. He just stared. His usual emotionless expression cracked—barely—but enough for Jeongin to shoot a glance his way.

"Holy shit," Hyunjin whispered behind him. "He looks like a ghost."

"Alive," Chan muttered, moving in with cautious steps. "Barely."

"Got something," Seungmin called. He had picked up a thin folder from a table by the wall. He flipped it open, scanning. Then his voice dropped.

"Name: Felix. Age: 23. Kidnapped three days ago. Currently being broken in..."

Everyone froze.

Seungmin kept reading, his jaw tightening.

"Last drugged: less than an hour ago."

Minho's hands curled into fists.

"Pick him up," he said coldly.

"Boss, he's—"

"I said pick him up."

Jeongin was already beside the bed, gentle as he checked Felix's pulse. "He's stable. Probably unconscious from the drugs. We can carry him."

"Do it," Minho snapped, already turning. His voice was low, dangerous. "Seungmin, wipe everything. Burn what you can't. Hyunjin, make sure no one walks out alive. No one."

"Yes, boss," they said in unison.

Chan fell into step beside him as they exited the room. "You okay?"

Minho didn't answer right away. His jaw clenched tight, and when he did speak, his voice was pure steel.

"They were going to break him."

"I know."

"I'm going to kill them all."

"I know."

Minho's eyes burned as he glanced back once more—just as Jeongin cradled Felix gently in his arms, holding him like something fragile.

"I'm getting him his life back," Minho said. "Even if I have to burn this whole city down."

And for the first time in years, Chan saw something in Minho's expression that wasn't cold.

It was fury.

And something deeper.

Something dangerous.
