"He came from the sea... but found home in Jeongin's arms."

The late afternoon sun glinted off the smooth surface of the ocean as the massive white yacht rocked gently in the waves. Laughter and the clink of beer bottles rang out from the deck as Stray Kids—the famously wealthy family behind SK Corp—relaxed for the first time in weeks.

"Chan-hyung, admit it," Jisung grinned, reeling in his fishing line. "You thought this fishing trip was going to be boring."

Chan leaned back in his deck chair with a smirk. "It is boring. That's the point. Boring is relaxing. No meetings, no deadlines, just peace."

"Peace?" Changbin chuckled. "You call this peaceful? Hyunjin nearly fell overboard five minutes ago."

"I meant to do that!" Hyunjin shouted from where he was drying off his arms with a towel. "It was hot!"

"You were flailing!" Seungmin deadpanned. "Like a wet noodle."

"Look, noodle or not, I caught something," Minho cut in, squinting at the net off the side of the yacht. "Guys. Pull the net up."

Jisung groaned. "It's probably seaweed again."

"No, it's—just help me!"

The brothers sprang into motion, grabbing hold of the heavy net and pulling it up together. As it emerged from the sea, their playful banter fell silent.

"Wait... what the hell is that?" Jeongin breathed.

Entangled in the net was a shimmering figure—long silver-blond hair, glistening blue-green scales, and unmistakably not human. Three bloodied arrows jutted from his body, and a weak groan escaped his lips.

"Holy shit," Seungmin muttered.

"A merman," Hyunjin whispered in awe. "Is that—are we hallucinating?"

"He's bleeding," Minho said urgently. "That's not a hallucination. Jeongin, get towels. Now!"

Jeongin was already running, panic on his face. "Got it!"

Chan barked orders, shifting into CEO mode in an instant. "Minho, help me get the net off him. Carefully. Don't move the arrows yet. Changbin, grab the med kit."

"He's real," Jisung whispered, kneeling beside the injured merman. "He's really real."

Jeongin returned with armfuls of towels, dropping to his knees. "I got them—here—God, he's cold—he's freezing—" He wrapped a towel around the merman's trembling form, trying to keep pressure around the wounds without causing more pain. "Stay with us, okay? You're going to be okay. We've got you."

The merman blinked up at him, eyes wide and glassy. "H-Human..."

"You're safe," Jeongin said gently, brushing damp hair from his face. "We're not going to hurt you. I promise."

Changbin arrived with the med kit, and together, they worked quickly. One by one, the arrows were removed, though each one brought a cry of pain from the stranger. As the last arrow was pulled from his shoulder, his tail began to shimmer, pulsing with faint light.

"What's happening?" Hyunjin asked, eyes locked on the tail as it split, stretching and reshaping. Scales faded, and legs appeared where fins had been.

"Did he just—grow legs?" Seungmin asked, stunned.

"I think he shifted," Chan said, watching in awe.

Now fully human in form, the merman lay unconscious, his breaths shallow but steady.

"We need to take him home," Jeongin said softly. "He needs real care. Not just towels and a med kit."

"Agreed," Minho nodded. "No one speaks of this outside us. Understood?"
