"In a world of darkness and danger, love blooms eternal beneath the cherry trees."

"Hyunjin?"

Felix blinked hard, frozen on the dark sidewalk, heart skipping unevenly in his chest. The streetlights flickered overhead, casting long, twisted shadows. He took a shaky step back.

"Ji...sung?" he whispered, voice cracking.

"Hey Lixie," Jisung said softly, a smile tugging at his lips—but it wasn't the boyish grin Felix remembered. His eyes glowed faintly red, and his canines were just a little too sharp.

Felix's breath caught when he saw the third figure step forward. "Jeongin."

"I missed you," Jeongin said quietly. "We all did."

"What... what is this?" Felix's voice trembled now. "You all—no, you disappeared. I—I was the only one who remembered. Everyone else just—forgot."

Hyunjin tilted his head, his long blond hair shimmering under the moonlight. "They were made to forget."

"Made to?" Felix repeated, voice shrill. "What does that mean? What happened to you? Why are your eyes—" He stumbled back again. "Why do you look like that?"

"We're not here to hurt you," Jisung said gently, taking a step forward.

Felix's eyes darted to the four figures behind them, silent and unmoving. They looked older. Different. Regal. And terrifying.

"Don't come any closer," he warned, voice small.

"You're scared," Hyunjin said, almost like it pained him.

"Of course I'm scared!" Felix snapped. "You disappeared! One by one. I—I thought you were dead! And now you show up looking like... like this? With them?"

One of the four in the back shifted. He had sharp, unreadable eyes and a jaw that could cut stone. He spoke for the first time, voice cool and clipped.

"He remembers everything," Minho said.

"He's supposed too," Chan murmured beside him.

Seungmin stepped forward, hands folded neatly behind his back. "Felix."

The sound of his name in that voice sent a cold shiver down his spine. This man—no, this thing—radiated authority.

"Who are you?" Felix asked, backing against the side of a building.

"We're the ones your friends belong to now," Seungmin said simply. "Changbin chose Hyunjin. Minho chose Jisung. Chan chose Jeongin."

Felix's gaze flickered wildly between them, panic rising.

"I—I don't understand—"

"And I," Seungmin continued smoothly, stepping closer, "chose you."

"No—no, no, I'm not going anywhere with you!"

"You will," Seungmin said, unfazed. "Either willingly... or not. But make no mistake, Felix. You're coming with us."

Felix's breath came fast. "Why? Why me? Why us?"

"We've been watching," Changbin said from the back, voice low. "For a long time."

"You guys were always meant to be ours," Chan added.

Felix's heart pounded in his ears. "You took them. You took my best friends."

"We're happier now," Jeongin said, his voice tender but distant. "You will be too."

"I don't want to be like you."

Seungmin crouched slightly, eye-level now, his gaze sharp but calm. "You want to be with them, don't you?"
