"He didn't just come into their lives — he completed them."

The morning air was still cool as Hyunjin knelt before his altar, fingers laced together in prayer. The scent of sage and rose petals hung thick in the garden, swirling gently as the wind kissed the leaves. His long robes pooled around him as he bowed his head, whispering softly.

"Gaia... please," he murmured. "I've tried so many times. I want to give them a child. I want to raise someone with love and magic and joy. Just... just one. I want to be a mama."

The wind stilled. The trees stood silent.

Then, a soft sound pierced the quiet. A cry—light, high-pitched, and unmistakably that of a small child. Hyunjin's eyes snapped open. He stood quickly, barefoot on the mossy stone, and followed the sound past the altar, weaving through the rose bushes that guarded the edges of the coven's sacred space.

There.

Nestled in a thick bed of blooming red and pink roses was a small toddler, maybe two years old, with golden hair tangled in petals and sparkling dew. The child blinked up at him with large, warm brown eyes filled with tears and confusion.

Hyunjin gasped, hand pressed to his chest. "Oh, goddess..."

The child reached a hand toward him. "Hi..."

Hyunjin rushed forward, gently parting the roses. Not a single thorn had touched the boy—his skin was soft, unmarred, glowing faintly with something... magical. Very magical.

Hyunjin scooped him into his arms. "Where did you come from, little one?"

"Dunno," the boy said, wrapping his tiny arms around Hyunjin's neck. "You mama now?"

Hyunjin's heart cracked open. He cradled the child close. "Yes. If you want me to be. What's your name, little one?"

"Fewix and I wan'," the boy mumbled, resting his head on Hyunjin's shoulder.

Still holding the boy, Hyunjin made his way back to the coven's home—a large stone house hidden by enchantments deep within the forest. The front door creaked open as he stepped inside.

"Hyunjin?" Chan called from the kitchen. "We were gonna do spell prep in ten. You back from meditation?"

"Hyunjin, what's in your arms?" Minho stepped into the hall, eyebrows raised.

The others followed—Changbin with flour on his shirt, Jisung yawning, Seungmin flipping through a spirit tome, and Jeongin adjusting the sleeve of his robe.

Hyunjin blinked, barely able to find words.

"This is Felix," he said finally. "Gaia gave him to us."

"A baby?" Jisung exclaimed. "You brought a baby back from the altar?"

"He's not a baby," Seungmin corrected, peering closer. "Two years old, maybe. But... wait. His aura..."

They all stared.

Felix looked around with wide, curious eyes. Then he waved. "Hiiiii."

"He's glowing," Minho muttered. "That's not normal."

"Can I hold him?" Changbin asked, already reaching out. Hyunjin hesitated for a second, then nodded. Changbin lifted the toddler with surprising gentleness.

"Hi," Felix said again. "You big."

Changbin laughed. "You're small."

"Changbin," Chan said slowly, stepping forward, "bring him here. Let me see his eyes."

Felix was passed to Chan, who studied him closely. Then suddenly, Felix giggled and reached up to touch Chan's forehead with his tiny fingers.

"Whatcha doing?" Chan asked, surprised.
