The usual clinking of silverware and chatter filled the air in the cozy restaurant, a dimly lit space that felt like home to the wolf pack. Chan and his mates sat at their usual corner booth, their easy camaraderie filling the room with warmth. The restaurant, owned by Chan's childhood friend Sana, was a sanctuary for them, a place to unwind after long days of managing pack business. Sana's girlfriend Jia was busy in the kitchen, but the couple always made time to check on the pack when they came in.

"Everything's good, right?" Chan asked, leaning back in his seat, scanning the room.

Changbin grinned, rolling his shoulders. "You know we love this place. Food's always amazing."

Hyunjin smirked. "The ambiance is top-tier. Plus, the company's decent."

Jisung playfully nudged him. "Careful, someone might think you're flirting with the waitstaff."

Seungmin laughed softly, his voice always a calming presence. "Let's just eat before any trouble starts."

"Agreed," Jeongin added, his eyes already scanning the menu.

Just then, the sound of the door chime rang, signaling a new arrival. A young man walked in, his light steps almost ethereal. He wore a simple uniform, his eyes wide and slightly nervous as he glanced around the room. His gaze landed on their table, and for a moment, everything seemed to pause.

"Who's that?" Minho muttered under his breath, his eyes narrowing slightly as his instincts flared. Something about the boy felt... right.

"New waiter, I think," Chan responded, following Minho's gaze. But something was off. A pull, a magnetic force that tugged at his very being. The others seemed to feel it too.

"He's... cute," Hyunjin said, his voice softer than usual, as if he was trying to understand the sudden shift in the atmosphere.

"Blue eyes," Changbin added, his expression unreadable. "I can feel it. That's a strong scent."

Jeongin inhaled deeply, his eyes widening. "He's our mate."

The words seemed to hang in the air, and the pack went still, exchanging uncertain glances. They had been together for years, four alphas, three omegas—their pack was complete. So why did the new waiter, feel like a missing piece?

Chan felt his heart beat faster, and he exchanged a look with Minho. "I thought our pack was complete."

Minho's jaw tightened. "So did I."

Suddenly, Sana appeared at their table, her usual bright smile on her face. "Hey, Chan! It's good to see you all. Is everything okay?"

Chan leaned in slightly, his voice low. "Sana, tell me about that new waiter, the one with blue eyes."

Sana blinked, then her expression softened in recognition. "Felix? Oh, you're going to love him. He's sweet, but... he's been through a lot." She lowered her voice, stepping closer to Chan. "He came here from Australia. His entire pack was killed by humans. He was hiding when Jia found him, and we took him in. He's been working here ever since."

Chan's brows furrowed in concern. "His pack was killed?"

Sana nodded, her tone somber. "Yeah. He's been... scarred. I don't think he trusts easily."

Chan clenched his fists, feeling the weight of the news settle on his shoulders. "Is he okay?"

Sana smiled, though it was tinged with sadness. "He's healing, but he's shy. Very reserved, and he gets scared easily, especially around strong personalities."

"Thank you, Sana," Chan said softly, his mind already racing with thoughts. The connection was undeniable. Felix was their mate. But how would they approach him? He didn't even know what he was walking into.
