"He was their miracle... but to him, they were the heroes."

"Are you sure he's okay with this?" Chan asked softly, adjusting the collar of his white shirt as the staff busied themselves behind him.

The woman from Make-A-Wish nodded, smiling gently. "He's been looking forward to this for weeks. He doesn't talk much with adults, but when he heard it was Stray Kids..." she chuckled, "he hasn't stopped babbling since."

Minho peeked past the door into the playroom, spotting the tiny boy sitting on a beanbag with a plush wolf in one hand and a lightstick in the other. His hair was a soft mop of golden curls, his cheeks round and flushed.

"That's him?" Minho whispered.

"Felix," the coordinator called gently, stepping aside.

The toddler looked up slowly, big brown eyes locking onto the group of boys in the doorway. He gasped.

"Stway Kids!" he squealed, scrambling to his feet and nearly falling over in excitement. "Stway Kids! Stway Kids!"

Chan was the first to walk in, crouching down to meet the little boy at eye level. "Hi, Felix," he said warmly. "I'm Chan."

"Channie!" Felix shouted, launching forward with arms outstretched. Chan caught him instantly, surprised by how small and warm he was.

"Woah, strong hug!" Chan laughed, hugging back.

"You real," Felix whispered in awe. "You real Channie. I wuv you."

Minho knelt beside them, his voice soft. "Do you know who I am?"

Felix squinted at him, nose wrinkling. "MinMin."

Minho's heart squeezed. "That's right. I'm Minho."

"Your hair pweety," Felix said seriously, reaching out to pat it.

Minho chuckled. "Thank you, little star."

Changbin crouched next, flexing his arms playfully. "And who's this strong guy?"

"Changbean!" Felix cheered, throwing both arms up. "Big muscles!"

"That's right!" Changbin laughed. "You've got good taste, buddy."

Jisung popped his head over Chan's shoulder. "You know me too?"

Felix gasped again, eyes wide. "Hannie! Hannie funny!"

Jisung beamed. "You hear that, guys? He thinks I'm funny."

"More funny than you think you are," Seungmin muttered, stepping forward.

Felix pointed at him excitedly. "Minnie! You my bunny!"

Seungmin blinked. "I'm... your bunny?"

Felix nodded seriously. "You bunny. Soft."

Jeongin knelt down, his smile warm. "Hi, Felix."

"Yinnie!" Felix sang. "Yinnie cute!"

Jeongin laughed. "Aww, you're gonna make me cry already."

Hyunjin walked in with a soft voice. "And me?"

Felix's face lit up even more. "Hyunnie pwincess."

Everyone burst into laughter.

Hyunjin gasped. "Princess?! I'm the prince!"

Felix frowned, patting Hyunjin's hair. "Too pweety. Pwincess."

Chan wiped a tear from his eye. "You just got roasted by a two-year-old."

Felix smiled shyly, burying his face in Chan's shoulder. "I go home wif you?"
