"A sacrifice for power. A love that defies fate."

A swirling gust of fire and smoke filled the dimly lit chamber as the summoning circle ignited, casting eerie shadows along the cracked stone walls. The scent of sulfur and something metallic hung thick in the air. At the center of it all, Jeongin—Mammon, Prince of Greed—stood tall, his golden eyes gleaming with amusement as he observed the trembling man before him.

Nico Lee fell to his knees, his breaths shallow and desperate. "Demon Prince Mammon," he rasped, pressing his forehead to the cold ground. "I call upon you to strike a deal."

Jeongin smirked, stepping forward with deliberate ease. "A deal, huh?" He crouched down, tilting his head. "You know how this works, mortal. Nothing comes for free. What are you offering?"

Nico swallowed hard and lifted his head, revealing a desperate, hollow look in his eyes. "My son," he whispered. "Felix. He's young, strong—he'll be of use to you. In exchange, I want power. And money. More than I could ever spend in a lifetime."

Jeongin let out a low chuckle, tapping a finger against his chin. "Your only child? That's cold, even for a human." His grin widened, revealing sharp teeth. "But I like it."

He extended a clawed hand, and a dark contract materialized between them, the infernal script shifting and writhing like living ink. "Sign here," Jeongin purred, "and I'll take Felix off your hands. But know this—once he's mine, he's mine. You'll never see him again."

Nico hesitated for only a moment before slicing his palm open with the dagger at his belt and pressing his bloody hand to the contract. The parchment glowed, then disintegrated into embers.

Jeongin sighed contentedly, rolling his shoulders. "Done. Oh, and one more thing—your deal has an expiration date."

Nico's eyes widened. "What?"

"You didn't think all this wealth and power came without consequences, did you?" Jeongin leaned in, his voice dropping to a whisper. "When your time runs out, your soul belongs to me."

Nico's lips parted, but before he could protest, the flames around them surged. A dark wind howled through the chamber, and from the swirling void stepped a boy—no, a young man—his blond hair a soft halo against the darkness. Felix.

His eyes darted between Jeongin and his father, confusion clouding his face. "Dad?" he called, his voice uncertain.

Jeongin wasted no time. With a snap of his fingers, Felix vanished in a burst of black smoke.

"He's mine now," Jeongin said, flashing a devilish grin before vanishing into the abyss.

Jeongin arrived at the grand castle he and his brothers shared, Felix now in his arms. The mortal squirmed, coughing against the lingering scent of sulfur.

"Let me go!" Felix demanded, trying to pry Jeongin's fingers open.

Jeongin exhaled sharply. "Calm down, pretty human." He finally put Felix down, watching as the boy staggered backward, his chest rising and falling with panicked breaths. "You belong to me now. No use fighting it."

Before Felix could respond, heavy footsteps echoed through the grand hall.

"Well, well," Minho drawled, descending the marble staircase with lazy amusement. "What have you brought us, Mammon?"

"A sacrifice," Changbin added, arms crossed as he smirked. "A pretty one at that."

Hyunjin hummed, circling Felix with slow, predatory steps. "Are we keeping him whole, or are we taking him apart?"

Jeongin's eyes darkened. "No one touches him."

The room fell silent. The other princes exchanged glances before a knowing grin spread across Chan's face.
