"Felix thought he was just a regular guy—until fate led him to a pack, a mate, and a past he never knew he had."
The stadium roared with energy, thousands of Stays screaming as Stray Kids performed their final song of the night. The stage lights flashed in dazzling patterns, illuminating the seven alphas as they commanded the stage.
Jisung grinned, his heart racing with adrenaline as he rapped his verse. He thrived in moments like this—performing alongside his pack, feeling the crowd's energy, living his dream.
But then it hit him.
A scent.
Sweet, warm vanilla, impossibly strong, curling around him like an intoxicating haze. His breath hitched, and his body tensed. His vision blurred for a second before his eyes flashed alpha gold.
Jisung stumbled back, panting.
"Jisung?" Hyunjin's voice barely reached him over the music and the cheers, but the concern was clear.
Chan caught the shift instantly, the pack leader's sharp gaze snapping toward Jisung. "What is it?"
Jisung's jaw clenched. "Scent-omega-mate-strong." His voice was rough, feral.
Minho, ever observant, was already scanning the crowd. His golden eyes darted from face to face, searching for the source of the scent that had set Jisung off. Then, his gaze locked onto someone near the barricade.
"Found him," Minho murmured, his eyes narrowing.
Chan stepped closer. "Where?"
Minho tilted his chin toward the front row, where a young man stood, visibly trembling. He was clutching onto two frantic friends, his hands shaking as his body reacted instinctively. The omega was presenting right there in the crowd.
Chan cursed under his breath. "Get security. Now."
With a quick signal, security moved in, swiftly ushering Felix and his two friends out of the crowd and toward the backstage area.
Jisung growled low in his throat, shifting on his feet. The absence of that intoxicating scent made his instincts scream at him to follow.
Chan grabbed his wrist before he could move. "Not here. Get it together."
Jisung snarled, but the commanding tone of his alpha had him holding back—barely. The moment the song ended, the group rushed offstage, and the scent slammed into Jisung again, stronger than before.
They barely made it past the backstage curtains before Jisung's eyes flashed gold again.
Then he saw him.
Felix stood there, shivering, his big brown eyes glassy with panic and distress. His friends flanked him protectively, but they looked just as lost.
A small whimper escaped Felix's lips.
Jisung was moving before anyone could stop him. He surged forward, instincts taking over, scooping Felix into his arms as the omega let out another soft whimper.
"Shhh," Jisung whispered, cradling Felix close. "It's okay, I got you."
Felix trembled against him, his body exhausted from presenting so suddenly in a crowded arena. But Jisung's warmth, his scent—deep and comforting like warm spices—seemed to calm him.
Within seconds, Felix's eyes fluttered shut, his breathing evening out as he relaxed in Jisung's hold.
The other alphas exchanged glances.
"Well, that happened," Changbin muttered.
Jake and Tyler, Felix's friends, finally snapped out of their shock. "What the hell is going on?" Jake demanded, his voice tight with concern. "Why did he—what's happening to him?"
