~June 2051~

11:49 PM

Wolf laid on the couch at Byron's house, watching a few episodes of a show.

His phone vibrated. He looked down.

•Message from Minho Samchon

He was surprised. Why was his uncle texting at this hour?

He read the message with concern.

[Is Minam with you? He said he was going to visit you, but his location went off. Just making sure.] - Minho Samchon

Wolf gulped. "Stupid little brat." He said to himself. This was definitely the furst time he had heard that Minam was apparently visiting him this weekend.

He quickly searched Minam's name and called him.

It rang for a long time before Minam finally answered. "Hyung?" He said innocently. "Hey. How's things going?"

"Where the hell are you?" Wolf asked harshly.

He could hear Minam gulp. "Uhh. Home."

"Try telling the truth this time." Wolf demanded.

"I'm hanging out with my friends."

"Samchon is gonna tan your hide."

"What's "tan your hide?"" Minam asked nervously.

"He's gonna beat your butt." Wolf said.

Minam hummed.

"Why did he send me a text making sure that we're together? Did you tell him you were coming to Ottawa weekend?" Wolf asked.

"I did come to Ottawa." Minam whispered.

Wolf clicked his tongue. "You want me to call him and tell him you're not with me and you're out doing something you're not supposed to be? I'll tell him that you lied to him and ran off somewhere with some bratty kids. You won't be allowed to leave the house again for the entire summer."

"It's just a grad party! And it's not fair that I couldn't go to it! Our whole class was invited." Minam whined.

"Why weren't you allowed to go?"

"Appa is so judgey... He just doesn't like some of my friends." Minam whined again as if it were an acceptable explanation.

"So you want me to call Samchon and tell him I don't know where you are?" Wolf asked threateningly.

"No!" Minam spat.

"Tell me the address. I'm coming to get you."

Minam knew that wasn't goinf to be good either. But did he want his dad to find out? No.

And why was his dad checking his location anyway? He didn't normally do it.

"Now!" Wolf ordered.

Minam whined once more before finally giving up the information.

Wolf pulled up to the house. It was huge. The kind you'd see on movies or something. He grumbled, putting his Aunt Larissa's car into park. (He still hadn't bought his own, so he "borrowed" hers.)

He got out and walked up the walkway, feeling the ground beneath his feet vibrate from the heavy bass music.

He opened the door, looking around. It was packed full of people. It was hard for Wolf to imagine that anyone could desire to be at such a party, but he had heard enough stories of his dad's university life to believe that it was possible. He hated it. The environment was so overstimulating. He scanned the first room for Minam, but he wasn't there. He looked around several large rooms before he found him, standing at a pool table with a few other guys and girls, holding a pool cue in his hand.
