"Welllll...." Minam stuttered. "Well, I wasn't exactly planning on sneaking off. It's just that Appa says no to everything as soon as he hears certain names." He pouted.
"Which friends does he not like?" Wolf growled, going to sit beside Minam.
Minam shrugged.
"The kid that tried to come at me? The one with like 20 piercings?" Wolf asked sternly.
Minam nodded.
"And you wonder why? He can't possibly be a good friend." Wolf rolled his eyes.
"You don't know that!"
"Yeah. I don't exactly trust your judge of character. Do you not remember almost getting kidnapped by that creepy woman?!"
"That was a long time ago! I've changed a lot! You don't even know. You're never around." Minam spat.
Wolf shook his head. "Quit trying to make me out to be the bad guy here. I don't feel sorry for you. You know very well that if I didn't care about you, I wouldn't have come to get you tonight!"
Minam rolled his eyes. "Wow. You really went out of your way, didn't you?"
"Yeah, actually. I did." Wolf said.
Minam gulped, tears forming in his eyes. "You promised that when we came here, we'd be together. You haven't even come to visit for like 2 months."
"Well, I've been a bit busy." Wolf snarked.
Minam looked down. "You always think that you can just ignore me all the time and then scold me whenever you feel like it."
"I don't scold you whenever I feel like it! I scold you when you act like an idiot!" Wolf spat.
"You won't even listen to me!" Minam yelled. "What am I supposed to do?! Am I supposed to just sit at home all the time? There's no one there. There's no one to talk to. Even though Appa is better these days, I still can't tell him things. He gets so mad if I do something he doesn't like. WHO am I supposed to talk to?! Teddie hyung is busy with his girlfriend. You're busy with Thunder. We moved to a different country. I had to learn English! And even then, you guys get all mad because I made friends?! Why am I not allowed to have friends?!" Minam cried.
Wolf sighed. "You're allowed to have friends. Just not ones who encourage you to go to parties where people are drinking and getting high."
"Jet doesn't drink. He doesn't do drugs, either." Minam said.
Wolf rolled his eyes.
"Besides. I convinced him to go." Minam said.
Wolf shook his head. "You did not." He said, thinking Minam was trying to cover up for his friend.
"You think I wouldn't?" Minam raised his brow.
"You're a good kid."
Minam shrugged. "No, I'm not. I just act like it around you guys." He said, trying to act tough.
Wolf grabbed his arm, pulling him roughly over his lap.
"Let go!" Minam demanded, as if that had ever worked before.
"Shut your mouth." Wolf said harshly.
*SMACK SMACK SMACK*
"You haven't even been around! We're not that close anymore!" Minam whined defensively, trying his best to get out of trouble. "You spend all your spare time with Thunder, and you don't even care about me anymore!" He whined.
It was a good thing that Wolf had a way of shutting off his emotions, or he would've actually been swayed by Minam's guilt tripping.
"You're so mean to meeeee!" Minam cried.
