It wasn't long before I was plagued with another vision and I found myself clinging to Narcissa as she led me away from the boathouse.

"Why doesn't it work for me, Severus?" my father hissed, slowly circling Severus.

"You have performed extraordinary magic with this wand. In the last few hours alone-."

"No!" my father hissed. "I am extraordinary! But the wand resists me."

"There is no wand more powerful. Ollivander himself said it. Tonight, when the boy comes to you, it will not fail you, I am sure. It answers to you and you only."

"Does it?"

I was pulled from the vision as Narcissa's voice filled my ears.

"What's happened, sweetheart? What is it?"

I could see Nagini circling Severus, following my father and there was a sinking feeling in my chest.

"He's going to kill him," I muttered, turning back toward the boathouse we'd just left. I freed myself from her grasp, running back to the boathouse as she followed behind me.

"Where, Severus? Where does its loyalty lie?"

"With you, of course, my Lord."

I reached the boathouse and found Harry, Hermione, and Ron huddled outside as Narcissa grabbed my arm, stopping me from going any further.

"Y/n, wait!"

"Cissy, don't interfere!" I pulled my arm away from her.

"I was told to stay with you!"

"Then stay but don't interfere!" I hissed.

She seemed conflicted for a moment before nodding and I made my way toward Harry and the others. Harry startled before realizing it was me and quickly wrapped his arms around me.

"Snape... he's in there with him. He thinks Snape is the master of the Elder Wand."

I looked at him curiously for a minute before finally realizing. Draco was the wand's new master... or was.

"...Only I can live forever," Tom muttered.

It happened in a second. The loud thump against the glass, Nagini's hissing, and my heart racing in my chest. Harry moved his hand over my mouth as Ron and Hermione held me back. I could feel my skin growing warm and Narcissa approached me, placing a hand on my arm, before quickly retracting.

"You kids need to get away from her now," she hissed.

Harry looked confused for a moment before a large burst of energy erupted from my body, sending them flying away from me. I quickly stood, stumbling into the boathouse and my father's eyes widened as he saw me. I could see Nagini preparing to strike and I ran in front of Severus, pressing my hand against the wound on his neck.

The snake hissed, turning to my father, who shook his head, telling the snake to stop.

"How could you?" I screamed and Tom flinched.

"I regret this," he muttered and disapparated, leaving me with Severus's body, which was slowly becoming lifeless beneath my touch.

"No, no, no. Sev! Stay with me, baby. Stay with me, please."

"I-I'm sorry," he gurgled.

"No! Baby, please. You promised me!"

Tears slipped down his cheeks as Harry approached us. "Take them," he gasped, desperately, lifting his hand to his tears. "Take them."
