I didnt even look up.

Sir who was on the couch eating ice cream looked around confused.

S: what!??

B: Khalil stop?

K: No mom come look!!!

I huffed going to the kitchen, it better not be no tiktok nonsense.

Kh: Mom we got into LSU!

I stopped jumping up and down to hug them. I knew not getting an abortion would pay off one day!!

B: awww Kalani I knew you could do it, khalil im surprised at you though? are you sure it said congratulations honey?

He smacked his teeth I chuckled still hugging kalani.

B: you were always my favorite

S: what?? you said I was your favorite this morning

He scoffed.

K: mom you can stop hugging me now

I fake teared up. The twins groaned at my antics, I dont care they cant say shit until they have kids and see!!

B: my babies are growing up and your FATHER is getting so old not me

I kissed them both before pulling away. This time serious.

B: okay now go get your stuff ready so you can go with your dad

Kh: damn?? the celebration over like that?

B: oh we'll celebrate sometime this week just not today honey, mommy has shit to do

K: why do we have to go with dad because youre doing an interview? We're literally seventeen.

B: you're not going with him because I'm doing an interview, the old guy just wants to see you

I chose a car key from the drawer. Yes, I'm that rich!

B: and hell with his old ass this might be your last weekend with him, yall better go see your father!!

K: oh damn youre kinda right, lemme go grab my bag

The twins got up, I rounded the rest of the lil monsters.
