We slowly fade in to Loki's Scepter, letting out an eerie whine and an ominous crackling sound as a few sparks of electricity come off of it before the screen shakes. Pietro Maximoff looked at his twin sister, Wanda, before they held hands as explosions shook the building they were in.
"It's both funny and so wrong that they played husband and wife just a year before this film," Jack whispered to Gian with a smirk that the Sun Demon matched.
"You're talking about Godzilla 2014, right?" Gian whispered back.
"Yup, had a good laugh at that fact when I was rewatching it to get ready for New Empire." Jack said.
"Report to your stations immediately. This is not a drill. We are under attack. We are under attack." Baron von Strucker could be heard ordering over the building's loudspeakers as numerous soldiers scrambled to grab firearms to defend the building.
"Whoa! Immediately picking up where Winter Soldier left off! Awesome!" Jaune said in excitement.
"But who's attacking them?" Sienna wondered.
"I bet that this is the HYDRA base and the Avengers are coming to take them down!" Nora guessed.
"That's a pretty wild guess, Thunder Princess. The rest of the Avengers have been pretty busy and split up with their own things; it'd be pretty crazy to bring them all together out of nowhere, at the beginning of the movie." Emerald said.
Sure enough, the Avengers were in the process of launching an attack on a HYDRA base in Sokovia, making their way through the woods and fighting soldiers.
Clint and Natasha were in a jeep with Clint in the gunner seat, Thor maneuvering with his hammer to cover the two former spec-ops agents, even using a metal beam to take out a few goons in the process.
"And I stand corrected. That place must be heavily fortified if they all need to attack it," Emerald said with a raised eyebrow.
"Ha! Told you! Give me my Lien!" Nora cheered, holding her hand out.
"None of us were betting, Nora," Ren told her.
"I am a Demi-Goddess, and I demand tribute!" She declared.
"Do I need to tan your hide, young lady?" Glynda asked her daughter while the light reflected off her glasses dangerously.

Nora pouted at this.
"I get that HYDRA is dangerous and has advanced weapons, but what can they really have that they need ALL of the Avengers for? Wouldn't Thor or Iron Man be plenty? Assuming Tony has made some new suits?" Yang asked.
Steve drove by on his motorcycle with his shield on his back while dragging some poor soldier along the ground before casually chucking him towards two soldiers who were promptly knocked over.
