"Cmon baby, let's go" my mom said as she picked me up and ran out of the house.
"Mommy what's wrong?" I asked scared.
She didn't say anything but continued to run.
Me, being my 10 year-old self, didn't even know what was happening until my mom froze.
"Mom?" I asked turning my head to see a person, stumbling our way.
He looked scary, like he was rotting.
I screamed making the guy turn his attention to us.
"Mommy! Run! Run!" I screamed waving my arms in the air.
She started to run while more and more rotting people chased us from behind.
I started crying, what was happening?
Mommy reached a house at the end of the street and locked all the doors before putting me down.
"Mommy, Where's daddy?" I asked silently.
My mom started crying, I gave her a puzzled look.
"Mommy what's wrong?" I asked.
"Daddy left but he'll be home shortly... I promise" she said bending down to hug me.
"Pinky promise?"
"I pinky promise"
