He turns around and nods, raising his eyebrows and smiling. I squeal with excitement. We get out and I grab Tyler and Josh's hand, swinging our arms. As we walk closer, my smile grows larger.
We walk in and I'm overwhelmed with the sound of different animals. Tyler opens his mouth. "One condition, we can't walk out with a whole zoo." He lets out a laugh.
We walk to an area that has a sign that says "CATS AND KITTENS" over the top of the door frame. I grip Tyler and Josh's hand tighter and smile from ear to ear.
I follow Josh as he walks to a little pin with kittens. "Pick one" he says, smiling like a dork. I pick up a little black, orange and white one and cuddle it against my chest. "Oh my goodness!!!!" Tyler and Jenna walk over, and they're smiling.
"Let's get her" Josh says, smiling. We all nod. Josh carries her and we walk out of the cat room. I see some puppies and go to look at them.
"Oh my gosh. We have to get one!" Tyler says. I pick up a fluffy, fat little golden retriever puppy. "AWWWWW" Jenna says. The puppy licks my chin. "We have to. We just have to get her." Tyler says, smiling. He gets excited over the weirdest things.
We end up walking out with a new puppy and kitten, and toys and food for them. As we ride home, I hold the puppy, and she's so sleepy. "What are we gonna name them?" Tyler asks.
"Martha!!" I say, stroking the puppy's fur. Josh seems to think for a moment. "Eli!" He kisses the kitten.
We get home and I sit on the floor with Josh, Jenna and Tyler, playing with Eli and Martha.
I watch the little puppy tumble towards Tyler as he picks her up and hugs her, smiling.
