Chapter 32

So Josh commented on my photo. I feel pretty blessed. I cried for an hour straight. Haha. Enjoy this chapter.

It's now Thursday. Tomorrow is the 4th and Tyler has been so excited. He woke me up this morning telling me we are going to the store to prepare for tomorrow.

As we all ride in the car, Tyler goes over the plan. "So, how about we grill out and then go to the park??" he asks everyone. We all agree. We walk in to the grocery store.

We decide to split up, so we get the shopping done quicker. Me and Josh find half of the things while Tyler and Jenna find the rest. We meet at the front and check out.

The next day, Tyler wakes me up, smiling from ear to ear. I walk to the kitchen, where there's red and blue pancakes on the table. Josh and Jenna are already waiting. Tyler pulls a chair out and offers it to me; and I sit down. He joins me and we all sit around the table. I look to Josh, whose hair is all messy. He gives a toothy smile and his eyes squint.

We finish the delicious, gooey pancakes and then I shower. I pull on red skinny jeans, a black shirt and a light blue, long sleeved button up with white stars, leaving it un-buttoned. I put socks on and walk to the living room, scrolling through her phone.

"Hey! So there was a change of plans! I met a family at church and they are coming over to grill out and then to the park with us!!" She says, smiling. She's wearing a blue dress and red flats.

"Okay awesome!" I sit down next to her and pull out my phone. I sit for a while before Tyler appears. "Let's go to the train tracks and take some cool photos!" He suggests. We all agree. I slip black vans on and follow them outside. We go through the woods, to the tracks.

I get a photo with each of them separately. After we take tons of photos, we go back. I make a collage of all the photos and post it with the caption "fourth of July fun!".

I walk to my room and plug my phone into the stereo and play 'fourth of July' by Fall Out Boy. I sit on my bed painting my nails dark blue and bop my head to the beat. My nails dry and I go chill with Tyler and Josh in the living room.

I get up to get a drink and the doorbell rings.
