"Ma'am, can you tell us what happen?" The officer asked for the third time.

"I don't know!" I snapped. "He was at home with our daughter."

"Nikki." My dad warned.

My parents, siblings, Franklin, Tatiana, Adrian, Jeff, and Michael's family came to the hospital.

"Ma'am, we need you to help us." A female officer said.

I got up and started crying.

"If I knew anything, I would help you. This man hurt Michael and our daughter. I want him behind bars." I said.

"Can we question your daughter?" The female officer asked.

I looked at Shay. She's refusing to go to sleep until she sees Michael.

"No, she's two years old and doesn't speak well." I said.

They nodded and walked out.

Chad walked in and Shay ran to me.

I picked her up and she started whispering.

"Nicole, good to see you and you look very sexy still." Chad said, walking up to me.

Shay hid her face and squeezed my shoulder.

"Excuse me?" I said.

I saw Jermaine stand up.

"Chad, leave her alone." Tatiana said.

I rubbed Shané's back and moved away. I sat by Janet and Shay lifted her head up.

"Bad guy." She whispered.

Janet and I looked at her.

"Be nice." I said.

She crawled over to Janet. I rolled my eyes and watched Chad closely.
