I walked in Tatiana's office and her and Adrian were chatting.

"You seem down." Tatiana said.

"I have to work with Cole." I said.

"If he tries anything, I'll beat his ass." Adrian said and I giggled.

"I'm sure Michael and her brothers will, too." Tatiana said.

"And will be in jail, too." I added. "Are you coming tonight, since you planned it?"

"Nope, I'll be tempted to drink and I care about my baby's health." She said.

"Can I join you at your house?" I asked.

"Woah, Michael's going through hell with this party and you're not attending?" Adrian said and I nodded.

"I don't want to go. I didn't ask for it. I just wanted a nice little party with friends and family, not what he's planning."

"Are you at least going to tell him?"

"I don't know." I said.

My phone started ringing and I picked it up.

"Mrs. Jackson, your daughter is sick and we need you to come pick her up." The daycare lady said.

She's really strict and mean. Plus, she doesn't like me at all.

"Can she stay for a few hours? That's when my lunch break is and I can come pick her up then." I asked.

"No, I'm not risking the other kids getting sick." She said.

I sighed. "I'm on my way."

She hung up and I put my phone away.

"What's wrong?" Tatiana asked.

"Shay is sick and I have to take off for the day." I said.

"Krista isn't going to like that." Adrian said.

"I'm taking her with me, so I don't get in trouble and to prove I'm telling the truth." I said.

"Well, have fun." They said together.

I nodded and walked to my mom's office.

Okay, yes the first part of the story is going to be boring. Just be patient it was like this last time, but you still enjoyed and loved it.
