I got in my car and started it. I put my hand behind the passenger headrest and looked back. Something caught my attention and I stopped.

He babbled and I let a sigh of relief. I got out and opened the back door. I picked him up and sat in him in my lap. He had lipstick print on his forehead and it was strawberry red.

I went back into the house and Nicole rushed over to me. She took him and hugged him.
