"Where did Nick go?" I asked Tatiana.

"Home." She said and Mrs. Jackson scoffed. "He had to go get our things for the next few days."

"Oh." I said. "I don't think she's his."

"I know. He was so excited." She said.

I looked at Michael and he was sleeping with his mouth opened.

"Michael was, too. He'll be even more when he finds out this is his baby." Mrs. Jackson said and smiled.

I rolled my eyes and Tatiana gave me Vicky.

"She's adorable." I said.

"Thanks." She said. "You should get used to her considering you'll be her aunty or better yet, step-mom."

"That's just going to confuse them now." Mrs. Jackson said.

"Katie, stop it and leave her alone." Joseph warned.

She nodded and smiled.

Michael needs to have a word with her. My children will not be around a woman who hates me and my family.
