"Where's my daughter? Because I refuse to go in there with your mother." I asked.
Michael rolled his eyes and motioned upstairs.
I grabbed his face and looked in his eyes.
"Son-in-law, don't roll those eyes at me." I said and he nodded.
I retreated upstairs and knocked on their room door.
"Leave me alone, Michael!" She shouted and her voice cracked.
She's crying.
I opened the door and she let a sigh of relief. "Baby, what's wrong?"
She wiped her nose and sniffled.
I shut the door and went over to her. As soon as I sat down, she was in my arms, crying.
"He got mad at me for frowning at her, when she completely disrespected me in my own home." She sobbed. "He yelled at me and hasn't even came to check on me."
"Shhh, mommy will make this right." I told her as I rubbed her hair.
"Mommy, all he does is stand up for her?" She sobbed. "I gave him kids and this how he treats me?I never ask for anything, I just want her respect. I'm the reason she has grandchildren and why her son is happy and she doesn't see that."
This is not right at all. I respect Michael and he respects me. I know Nicole can be disrespectful, but her being disrespectful to another adult doesn't sound like her at.
I'm just going to take things in my own hands, whether she likes it or not.
