"What's wrong, Nicole? You've been acting like this since the hospital." Nick stated.

"I'm leaving. Tell Tatiana I said bye." She said and walked out.

Nick looked at me and I followed her out.

"Nicole." I said and she stopped.

"What?" She asked, turning to face me.

I put my hand on her face. "What's wrong?"

"Your mother. She fucking hates me and is rude to me. I'm sick of it." She said, looking away from me.

"She's too nice to be mean." I said, resulting in Nicole giving me a pissed arch eyebrow. "Look, I'll talk to her. Also, you can't leave."

"Why?"

"My keys, my car." I said and took them.

She frowned and I kissed her. She pulled away and walked in front of me. "I got another text."

"From?"

"Cole. He's crazy obsessed with me." She said.

I swear I'm going to kick his ass. He knows we are together.

"I'll confront it tomorrow." I said.

She nodded and Tatiana came in.

"How do I lose this?" She asked, touching her stomach.

"Workout." Nicole said smartly and Tatiana hit her. "I'll take you to the gym."

"Thanks. Michael, your mother needs to go. She's giving Nick hell and did the same to Nicole."

"It's weird she is. I would expect Joseph, but not her." I said.

"Maybe because she has to accept a new woman now." Tati suggested.

"No, it's something to do with my parents or my mom more say." Nicole said. "Can we go?"

I nodded and we walked out.
