saturday.
andie scanned the room quickly with her bottom lip between her teeth and nodded very slowly.
"it's not really as i imagined it. it's a lot more band-ish than i thought it'd be." she uttered, crossing her arms.
"yeah, people tend to say that too." luke mumbled before sitting down at the end of the bed. he had counted on her exploring every part of his room.
"oh my gosh." she mumbled and walked up to a bookshelf. but instead of books, it consisted of movies. a lot of them. "you collect movies?" she asked, intrigued.
"i like movies a lot, so why not?" he shrugged back and pursed his lips. he really thought she'd laugh, or drop a mocking comment, but instead she remained silent and read all the different titles.
"this is awesome." she commented quietly and grinned.
"wait, what?" he frowned. "you think it's cool? everyone always finds it lame or something."
andie was on the verge of saying something about calum being a tease on purpose and consciously mean, but she managed to think before opening her mouth.
"i think it's really cool." she said truthfully and glanced back at him quickly. "i mean, you have all kinds of movies. you have—" she stopped mid sentence and widened her eyes. "you batshit, you have lone survivor here!" she exclaimed, turning around.
luke giggled and covered his mouth with his hand. he found her adorable with her surprised expression and hands by her waist.
"yeah, uh..." he cleared his throat to stop himself from laughing. "i bought it after you mentioned it was your favorite movie, just to see if it was that good."
luke tamed his story a bit. he bought it merely because it was her favorite movie, almost immediately after she had shared that. but of course he couldn't say that, it was ridiculous.
"well, have you seen it yet?" andie asked, turning her body back to the shelf and scanning the rest of the movies, bending forward to get a better view of the bottom ones.
"no." he lied, blinking at her legs with his lips slightly parted.
"then let's watch it." she suggested, snorting when she found a phantom of the opera dvd.
"sure." he smiled, standing up to get his computer. in all honesty, he liked the movie a lot, so watching it again wouldn't be boring.
andie stood straight and stretched her shoulders upwards. she took off her jeans jacket while luke was handling the laptop.
"nice posters." she smiled as she scanned the walls around them. he simply sent her a soft smile before putting the cd in and biting his lip.
"where do you want to sit?"
"on the floor. or the carpet. it's really soft." she nodded to the floor and watched as luke raised his eyebrows at her.
"okay." he laughed and put the laptop down on the floor.
andie sat down with her back against his bed and crossed one leg over the other one. luke joined her side before resituating the computer on his lap and started the movie, and then threw a pillow against the button that turned the lights off.
"smooth." she laughed and shook her head weakly.
"what? i'm too lazy to get up and do it." he shrugged before gluing his eyes on the screen.
