sunday, april 4th.
andie squeezed out some water from her hair as she sat down opposite to luke on the same chair as before, with her legs on each side of the chair.
luke picked up a pack of cards and handed her a bottle of coke from the bar. she gladly accepted it and licked her lips. he dealt the cards and gazed at her, realizing how different she looked now that she was make up free, her hair damp and a smile on her face.
they'd been by the pool for a few hours, ate a quick lunch, and everyone mostly sat and talked now, so luke and andie decided to play some cards until dinner.
"that was a nice somersault before by the way." luke nodded to the pool and smiled. even though she knew exactly what he was talking about, her head turned briefly to look at the pool.
"my favorite thing was when you went on that water slide and clashed into ashton." she laughed and started playing the card game.
"hey, that hurt!" ashton butted in from his seat and then giggled. andie snorted and fixed her bikini top a bit.
"it was still funny." she stated and looked up at luke.
"speaking of nothing, have you decided what to get crystal yet?" luke asked and pursed his lips.
"i think so, but it's nothing special." she shrugged and smiled over the fact that he remembered.
"she'll love it." he reassured her, without actually knowing what she had on her mind.
"you don't even know what it is." she smirked with a weak headshake and stretched her shoulders upwards.
"let's pretend i know." he deadpanned and won the game.
"but you still don't know, so you can't guarantee me that she'll love it." she mumbled with a hint of a smile playing on her lips.
"okay, fine. but i really believe she will." he corrected himself and dealt the cards.
andie barely grinned and stretched upper body, sighed through her nose and gazed to the side, at calum. he was scrolling down his phone while laying on his chair and had one leg bent upwards. her eyes travelled from his chest to his tattoos as always, admiring them briefly.
luke awkwardly looked at her chest, but looking turned to staring. who could blame the poor boy, who never checked her out in that way? he bit on his bottom lip harshly and tore his eyes away when she looked back at him.
"calum's tattoos are really nice." she uttered, gazing down at the cards.
"yeah." he mumbled and glanced at calum himself. he did agree with her.
"but your lip ring is cooler." she added and leaned forward a bit, putting her thumb against the cold material. he sucked in a sharp breath and parted his lips.
"thanks." he laughed nervously and tried not to move too much.
andie smiled softly, but realized how strange it was, so she pulled away her hand and sat straight again. luke tried to hide the disappointment, and they continued playing some cards for a while.
"hey, andie?" calum suddenly said, catching her attention. andie moved over to him without really thinking.
"yes?" she smiled and pulled her fingers through her hair. calum turned so he sat instead, creating some more room for her to sit on.
