wednesday.
"please don't eat all my ice cream." calum pleaded and sat down on the bed.
andie shot him a look as she sat cross-legged in front of him, and dug the spoon in the box of ben&jerrys.
"i'll buy you a new one." she offered and bopped her head in sync with the melody of the song playing in the background.
"no, you should definitely save your money." he scoffed and raised his eyebrows.
she barely smiled and continued eating his goods. after a while, the ice cream began tasting thick and almost made her sick, so she put it back in the fridge, entered his bedroom again and laid down on the bed.
he put away his phone and laid down beside her, propping his upper body up with his elbow as support. his eyes flickered across her face, which seemed very lifeless.
"stop staring." she mumbled and turned her head to look at him.
"i wasn't staring." he smiled, patted the spot beside him and laid down on his back instead. she rolled her eyes before scooting closer to him and resting her head against his chest. "why didn't you tell him you were working?"
andie sighed and bent one of her naked legs upwards, not really wanting to talk about it. but she knew he was going to ask, it was inevitable.
"he would ask why. and i can't tell him that." she muttered and played with his necklace.
"you have to." he sighed and looked at her, almost apologetically. "he's my friend too."
"i know, which sucks."
"i can't believe you had another fight." he almost chuckled and shook his head.
"he's stubborn."
"so are you."
"he's dramatic."
"so are you."
"he's easily hurt."
"so are you."
andie stared at him and took her bottom lip between her teeth. she didn't expect to feel so affected by those simple words, but she was.
"don't do that." she said and sat up. "i hate it when you do that."
calum rolled his eyes and followed her lead, cocking his head to the side in amusement. she pulled the sleeves of her top around her hands, covering them and then pressed her hands between her legs.
"what? when i'm right?" he teased and stood up from the bed.
"yes." she muttered and gazed down at the sheets. he laughed and glanced down at his exposed torso.
"do you want something proper to eat? i could warm up some pizza and we can watch that stupid tv show." he suggested, leaning his body against the door frame with crossed arms.
"legend of the seeker is not stupid!" she countered, keeping her lips parted. "but yes."
"whatever you say, honey." he snickered before disappearing into the kitchen.
andie smiled a little and shivered when her fingers accidentally brushed against her legs. she had spent the night at calum's and let crystal stay with nikki. it was a nice change, to stay at his place over the night without actually doing anything but watching tv and talking.
