thursday.

"welcome back, sunshine." cameron grinned at his friend as she closed her locker with force.

"shut up." andie muttered and hugged her books against her chest.

"someone's in a bad mood." he chuckled and walked with her down the hallway.

"when am i not?" she pointed out and cocked her head to the side.

"true." he teased and nudged her side with his.

"see you at lunch." she said before leaving to take a turn.

andie had her eyes on the floor, and that's why she couldn't prevent herself from bumping into someone else, dropping her books. and oh, was she ready to give the person one of her lethal glares, but it turned out to be none other than luke.

"hey you." he smirked and kneeled down to gather her books. all the previous anger just washed right through her, putting a smile on her face.

"hey. you should watch where you're going." she laughed and glanced around them.

"i could say the same about you." he exhaled as he stood up and handed her the books.

"well, no one would actually bump into me. they're too afraid to do that." she remarked and accepted them.

"true." he laughed and licked his lips quickly. "when does your lesson start?"

andie checked the time on her phone before answering with ten minutes. she stumbled when luke grabbed her hand and pulled her away from there in such a quick movement, to the back of the school.

"luke...?" she mumbled confused and frowned at him.

luke pulled her closer, a hand on the back of her head, before unexpectedly kissing her. andie raised her eyebrows in surprise and spent a few seconds processing what he was doing, and then she kissed back and clutched his upper arm.

"sorry, i've been wanting to do that since i drove you home." he mumbled and licked his lips, stopping at the piece of metal.

"this is a side of you i've never seen. careless, impulsive..." she smirked and pressed her lips together.

"don't worry, you still make me beyond nervous." he laughed, pecked her forehead and took a step back.

"that's good to know." she smiled and moved her foot in circles over the ground. "we should probably go back inside."

luke nodded when andie was already on her way back inside. she entered the classroom, placing herself beside michael almost instantly.

"hey." michael gave her a soft smile and rolled his pen between his fingers.

"hi." she smiled back and folded her arms against her chest. they didn't say much after that, since the teacher started her lecturing.

andie scribbled on her notepad while michael occasionally kicked her leg under the table on purpose. he had his eyes glued on the board, yet a smirk was playing on his lips, and she clenched her jaw not to laugh.

then her eyes travelled up from the desk to every student close to her, landing on vanessa. she received a dirty look from her, and that caused andie to slightly frown. vanessa abruptly looked away, straightening her back with a gross smile.

"wow. she's a bitch." michael whispered, and she gazed at him, a smile growing on her face.

"that's an insult to dogs. and bitches." she whispered back and pressed her lips together.
