tuesday.

andie jumped off her skateboard and grabbed it in her hand instead. she walked on the schoolyard, but stopped when someone stood in the way.

"andie, is that you?" the girl asked and took a step closer, as if to narrow her eyes at something far away. "wow, you look so different from when i last saw you."

"who are you?" andie asked back and scrunched up half her face.

"oh sorry, sandra. i used to go here two years ago, until i moved." she answered with a smile and pressed her lips together. andie's face hardened, and she passed her quickly without another word. immature maybe, but she really wasn't up for a conversation. "okay..." she heard sandra mumble.

andie rolled her eyes and walked to her locker, just to be accompanied with cameron a second later. they began talking, and she couldn't help but to tell him what happened with luke. he was after all her second closest friend after calum.

"so you broke up?" he asked when andie closed her locker and turned her head to him.

"yes, cam, we broke up." she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms under her chest.

"excuse me, what?" diana suddenly joined them and raised her eyebrows.

"where in the name of hades did you come from?" andie asked and raised both her hands just to shook them once as a gesture of annoyance, even though she wasn't annoyed at her.

"my mom's bottom." diana deadpanned and walked beside them. "what's this about you and luke? and why am i late with hearing this?"

"can we please not talk about it? really not in the mood." andie gave them each a look to shut them up and raised her eyebrows. they both nodded in defeat.

luke scratched his cheek before closing his locker and being startled by michael, who stood crossed-armed beside him.

"you broke up with her?!"

"oh my gosh." he muttered and walked by him.

"dude, what's wrong with you?" michael actually laughed and caught up with his friend quickly.

"nothing's wrong with me! besides, she was the one to end it. i didn't even break up with her. how do you even know this?"

"calum told me, and she told calum." michael shrugged, as if it should've been beyond obvious.

"of course." luke muttered and slid his hands down the pockets of his sweatpants.

"luke, this is definitely not you. can you at least tell me what the hell happened?" michael sighed and stopped his friend by putting a hand on his shoulder.

luke gulped while staring at the floor and peered up at michael. maybe it'd be better if he actually told someone, but he knew everyone would flip on him, even michael.

"it's nothing, alright. i'm just—" he stopped talking and frowned slightly. "sandra?"

"hey!" sandra chirped and threw her arms around luke, giving him a quick hug.

"oh my gosh, the wicked bitch is back." michael muttered quietly and crossed his arms, but luke heard him.

"what are you doing here, at school?" luke asked and let his arms hang loose by his sides.

"i wanted to visit. it's been a while, you know." she laughed and put one hand on her hip, all her body weight on one leg.

"yeah, two years and no one missed you." michael continued muttering, receiving a look from both of them now.
