It was about halfway through the movie when Hiccup fell asleep on jacks shoulder. Jack put his arm around his sleeping friend and smiled. To be honest Jack had feelings for his friend, but he doesn't say anything fearing he might ruin his first real friendship.
During Hiccup's dream he dreamt about himself and Jack dating and going on adventures together. By the time the movie ended Jack and Hiccup were both fast asleep leaning on each other. Valka knocked on the door but when there was no answer she poked her head in. When she saw the two boys sleeping she smiled and closed the door. "Now that's a true friendship," she said under her breath, walking back downstairs to tell Stoick about the cute moment.
"As long as they aren't doing anything inappropriate." Stoick said sternly.
"They're just sleeping on each other's shoulders," Valka says waving it off.
The next thing Valka knew her husband was going off on a rant. "Being gay is a sin against the gods. If my son, heir to be chieftain, is gay I will banish him from the tribe!" Valka gasps at his harsh remark.
