Hiccup turned his head to look at his friend who was already looking at him, smiling. Hiccup moved so he was now hovering over Jack. He smiled and nuzzled his face into the crook of Jack's neck, hugging him.
"Definitely."
Jack felt Hiccup smile into his neck and hugged him back. Jack's eyes formed little pools of tears that streaked down his face. He was so happy.
After a couple minutes Hiccup spoke.
"We really should get back. I'm sure mom and dad won't mind you sleeping over again." They both stood up and started to head back to Hiccup's house. They locked their fingers together and walked through the woods. Hiccup hummed happily while they walked back. Jack chuckled and swung their arms. And at that moment everything seemed perfect, and it was.
