I went back to school the next day and the second I was over the threshold Chris and PJ threw themselves at me.
"Ouch. Head still hurts you know," I say and they let go of me.
"Oh sorry," Chris says quickly.
"Ugh. I hate school. I so much preferred watching American Horror Story all day," I groan as we walk to our first lesson.
"Yeah but you missed us right?" PJ say.
"I didn't have a chance to miss you because you came over every night," I point out.
"True," Chris say.
"It feels different without Phil," I say
"And now PJ owes me five pounds," Chris says.
"What? Why?" I ask confused looking between them.
"We had a bet on when you'd bring up Phil,"
PJ said. "You couldn't have lasted five more minutes could you?"
"You guys are so stupid," I say.
"Yeah well I was right, proves I'm your best friend," Chris says accepting five pounds off PJ.
"No it doesn't prove that," I say.
"So I'm your best friend?" PJ asks.
"No, you both my best friends," I say rolling my eyes and sitting down in Biology.
"It's good to have you back," PJ says.
"Yep. We missed you," Chris says and I smile at them.
