Shaun dragged us up the coast to see Ashley, she had some sort of crash. I dragged Bella. Bella dragged my bass. She was supposed to be flying out from Sydney to go home today but she couldnt make the flight. I guess it had been a win win situation. I got more time with Bella, Shaun got to see his crazy half dead girlfriend. The call Bella made to her mum nearly ended in world war 3, there was so much shouting and abuse coming from both ends. But it did work out in bellas favor in the end, she was allowed to stay another week. By the time I woke up the morning after we arrived in coffs everyone was already gone. Jumpnow and imogen went with Bradie and racheal to some thing that was popular around here. Bella was still here, she was sitting under the window in the sunlight playing the song I taught her on the bass. That’s what woke me up, she noticed I was awake and smiled, putting my bass down and sitting cross legged on the floor next to the lounge I’d crashed out on. Her long blonde hair was in curls today, she usually left it straight, I twirled the curls around in my fingers until she moved and purposely caused me to overbalance and fall on the ground. On top of her. The plus side to being immature is that I fitted in with Bella, she decided to get revenge for me falling on her even though it was her fault. She chased me around the room, squirting me with a spray bottle of water she found in my bag. It was after 11 by now so we didn’t think twice about making noise, she squealed when I turned around and tackled her into the bed she slept on. It was like a movie scene for a minute, she reached up and kissed me, I kissed her back and it was incredible. But life isn’t a movie and life never fails to go wrong. The lady from the front desk must have a key for all the doors and she unlocked it while we were in the middle of a very heated make out session. Nothing kills the mood like a grumpy old asshole bringing complaints. Apparently several people had complained about the noise and she asked us to very politely ‘shut the fuck up for gods sake’ and then contradicting herself slammed the door behind her. We decided to make the most of being around here, but to first I had to have a shower. Bella was scared to stay in the room alone incase the lady came back so she sat in the bathroom while I showered. It took an hour for both of us to get totally ready so it was lunch time by the time we left. We got fish and chips for lunch and took them down to the park across the road from the hotel. Together I guess we had the maturity of about an 8 year old so this was the right place for us. We ate until we couldn’t eat anymore, no wonder all the teenies call me fat but I really didn’t give a damn. There was nobody else at the park except a couple of 3 year olds and their parents seeing as it was a school day so we mucked around like we were part of the group of small kids. We decided to trek it to the hospital after we got tired of running around to check on Shaun. By the time we got there we had been lost twice and both of us were totally exhausted it had started to rain, it felt like bad news was coming and that’s just what we didn’t need at the moment.
