Andys pov Bella was being sent away tomorrow, I didn’t know if I could handle her leaving. That night we first kissed i’d vowed that I wasn’t letting her go. When I found out what she had done I didn’t break that promise, everything had been so tense lately but I refused to break my promise even if it was only to myself. So we had to male the most of the time we had. It was cloudy outside, but the sun was shining through a bit so I decided to organize something special. The other day bella had confessed to me she was scared to go home, she hated her friends because they only spoke to her because she was imogens friend. She got bullied a bit about her size and I knew exactly how it felt.

At high school I wasn’t the cool kid, I was always getting picked on so whatever I could do I was going to do. She still reminded me of a pixie, she was cute and elfish, so I stuck to the theme. I left Bella to argue with Jimmy over who had the biggest nose and which family member gave it to them, which sounded like the stupidest argument ever to me but it bought me some time. The plus side of growing up in such a hole of a place was as a kid you always have time to go around and explore so I knew exactly where to go. I bought bubbles, fairy cakes and some silly string cans, before trekking it to my secret little spot. Since I was a kid I came here, mainly when I was over Bradie and family shit but it was perfect for a fairy picnic.

By the time I got back they had reached the agreement that Jimmys nose was bigger, so at least that put Bella in a good mood because she won. We walked, Bella blindfolded and her hand enfolded in mine back to where I had set up, she questioned me the whole time. Luckily, after being around me for a while she didn’t ever expect me to be partially romantic so she turned around and hugged me when I took the blindfold off. She was pretty short and cute so her hugs always made me feel special. It started to spit while we were chasing each other around, it seemed to be becoming a tradition that we either got wet or chased each other all the time. We blew bubbles and squirted the silly string around, until the rain got to heavy and we had to retreat under the trees. We sat huddled up together under the picnic blanket eating the fairy cakes, it was so hard to imagine that this time tomorrow she wouldnt be here at all. I squeezed her hand ‘you can’t go bells please’ I muttered into the sheeting rain, she squeezed back which sent tingled up my arm ‘I can’t leave you. I love you andy’ ‘I love you too bells’ I whispered not wanting to ruin the moment. And then we kissed. It sounds so cliche when people kiss after dates like these, infact dates like these were totally cliche. But I didnt care, screw cliche.

She tasted like cupcake and her hair was cold but it just reminded me of why I couldn’t let her go. I never meant to fall for her, I didn’t believe in fate but it felt like it was just supposed to be. We stayed there for hours, just being together. Just enjoying what we both knew deep down what was our last day together.
