imogens pov again
Me and Jimmy looked around; where the hell would they go before ashow? Jumpnow, Sonny and Lewis where still there but they hadn’t seen them leave…The hair and makeup girls were panicking; the fans were getting more excited by the minute and just when they were seriously stressing Shaun, Callie and Andy burst through the door followed by bradie ’where the fuck have you been?’ the makeup girls were crazy instantly making them sit and get their hair done while the boys laughed and ate and drank not caring that they were late. All to soon it was show time and me and Callie were let in the mosh pit before people came in. Bradie winked and handed me a camera before reachingdown to hug her and whisper in her ear ’I hope you like people’ before the fans came pouring in and the boys went off stage.
As the lights dimmed and the curtains opened For Our Hero played their supporting show; glitter rained from the ceiling and bradie was at the drumkit, Shaun and Andy were in position and they launched straight into one step closer, pausing in the middle to say welcome. I snapped heaps of pictures with the little camera. About half way through Shaun came close to her and said ‘ready?’. I was confused it was time for bradies solo but bradie was not at the drums he was at the front-with a microphone, the whole crowd went silent listening hard because bradie never talked at concerts. ‘Today was the best day ever guys,wanna know why?’ the crowd cheered and strong arms pulled me up onto the stage, all eyes were on me and my face went crimson as I was dragged by Shaun to bradie and I went impossibly redder when I realised I was still wearing Jimmy’s shirt that really didn’t matchthe rest of my outfit…. Bradie pulled her close and said proudly ’this is Imogen my little lost sister’ the crowd was silent…..
The crowd was quiet when bradie started to sing, he never sung and the
crowd was hypnotised, he got to the chorus his voice soared with
happiness. He held me close and the crowd cheered and screamed.
Shaun came onstage and Andy followed so I went to go back to the
mosh but Jimmy dragged me offstage with the sound crew telling me ‘I would get mobbed’ the concert went on and they finished with thick as thieves. With another shower of glitter it was over and the curtain went down. Shaun was first to run off an enfold me in a hot sweaty hug and was closely followed by a light hug from Andy and a tight hug from Bradie before they went to get changed. Jimmy’s shirt that I borrowed was all sweaty from the hugs and smelt like
guys….
Someone called my name and I turned around to find a red faced
Shaun holding a bag ‘here I got this for you… Beacause well you
know..?’ Shaun Diviney’s voice was quiet and he sounded embarresed,
I opened it to find a brand new iPhone and a white singlet with
Maurice printed on it, when I looked back at Shaun his face was
red with embarrement
‘oh Shaun I love it’ I smiled.
Shaun looked really happy and with a hug he was gone leaving me to get changed. After pulling the singlet over my head and fixing my makeup, I walked around hopelessly lost, I gave up and decided to
go through my phone to pass time reading through my contacts her
eyes froze on one number under the name “Shaun Diviney” …this wasn’t
there before, confused and desperate I called it.
It rung and when I was about to hang up that voice I knew so well answered ‘hey hey where are you?’ I was nervous as I addmitted ‘Shaun I’m lost’ Hysterical laughter came from the other end of the phone and managed
to choke out ‘i’m on my way’ between gasps. Within a few minutes Shaun
appeared behind me and scooped me into his arms, i pouted and crossed my arms, which made Shaun laugh harder as we walked back to the others, who were getting ready for the meet and greet. As they walked through the door the whole room laughed.
andy ran over and tickled shaun until he dropped me, pretended to kick me and ran off. Callie helped me up as we walked over to the lounge arms linked Jimmy cornered them and asked them to find the other backstage winners Mia and Amber. Jimmy showed them to the front door they walked out into the screaming crowd
