Chapter 3:

I finished giving Kendall my number slowly so he could type it in his phone, then tried leaving again, but he stopped me with a hug. I finally got free of the dork and walked towards the hotel once again.

"Is that where you're staying?" Kendall yelled as I was close to the building. I turned around and walked backwards, still distancing myself from his friends who liked to cause bodily harm to me.

"Yes Kendall!" I yelled back. He held up a thumbs up and waved. I waved back, turned on my heels, and finally got inside the building and up to my room once again following the way I had came this morning. Scott was back a few minutes after me with a bag full of food. He set it on the little table in our room as I immediately started digging through it.

"Damn, hungry?" He asked. I nodded as he laughed. We ate our sausage Mcmuffins as we chatted about my encounter with Kendall. "That guy again? Wow, what are the odds?" Scott said taking a drink of his hot coffee. I shrugged taking a sip of my mocha frappé. I finished eating and grabbed my suitcase throwing it up on my bed and digging through it.

"What's on the agenda today, Scott?" I asked giving up on finding an outfit without knowing what I'd be doing in it. I sat next to my suitcase and watched him on his bed for a moment. He thought a moment.

"Maybe go to Sunset? See what the tourists see?" He said all sounding like we weren't tourists. I grabbed a pair of light wash ripped flared jeans and a black loose V-neck shirt and jumped in the shower. I finished drying my hair letting it dry in it's natural crimson red waves. I put on my usual dark eyeshadow, black liquid liner, light foundation, and a simple light pink sparkle lip balm. I waited for Scott to change his shirt and then we were out the door. My huge purse would have bugged me, so I brought my small wallet, phone, and lip gloss. As soon as I crossed the door frame a lady with flowers stopped me.

"Miss, are you miss Bobby, room 10?" She asked reading the envelope attached to the card. I nodded, furrowing my brow in confusion, and thanked her for bringing me the flowers. I handed them to Scott whom held the door open. I grabbed the little note and pulled out the note inside. I read aloud to Scott what it read.

"For the bumps and bruises, here's some flowers to ease the pain. See you soon xx, Kendall and the jackasses." I giggled at the name calling and set the note down on the table by the door. I grabbed the flowers, they were yellow, white, and pink roses, and there must've been at least two dozen of them.I then sat them next to the card on the table that just had breakfast on it a moment ago.

"Wow, that guy really knows how to play a girl." Scott said putting on his sunglasses. I punched his arm playfully as I came back through the doorway he held open for me.

"Oh shut up, at least he knows how to play the game!" I told him. He smiled and pushed me out the door. As we walked to the elevator I was wondering why Kendall had sent me flowers. As we got down to the lobby and out the door, I looked for Kendall and his friends, but I didn't see anyone remotely familiar on the beach. We climbed into Scott's car ready to spend some money.
