Chapter 107:
An hour passed shortly as I had went back to my room with Logan by my side. Tawny had went to her seat as I heard Kathy calling for her letting her know it was close to eight. I looked at myself one more time in the full length mirror as Heather put an extra few waves in my hair, and touched up my makeup one last time. Marilee and Logan kissed sweetly and then stood in line. Kevin and Logan would stand one step beneath Kendall and I. Marilee and Kenneth would stand one beneath them, and then Dustin and Heather would be on the underneath them. I took a final breath, fixing my straps and fixing my rosary around my bouquet. This was it. No turning back, but who would want to?
Heather lead the way down the hallway followed by Marilee, then Logan, to the entry way that would be opened by men in tuxes. We all stood to the side and started counting down as the father clock rang eight. After the ringing, the music started and the doors opened for the first time, Heather smiled weakly at me then turned looking at the group of people watching her and she disappeared out of the doorway and out of my line of sight. My dads arm was interlocked with mine, and I felt my grip on his arm tighten as the doors opened again to Marilee. She smiled brightly before making her way out of my sight the same as Heather had. We took a step forward sure to not let anyone catch glimpse of me or my dad.
Logan looked at me one last time grabbing my hand. "Mrs. Schmidt." He said winking as the doors opened for his entrance. The doors closed one more time as Logan had walked through and the music picked up and my father and I aligned ourselves perfectly with the doors.
"Ready sweetheart?" My dad asked quietly in his tux. I smiled and nodded. Finally the doors opened. Revealing my father and myself in my wedding dress. I took a breath as we took our first step down the aisle.
