Chapter 77

Chapter 77:  

We arrived at the studio as we got out my father got out next to us. He smiled at me as I walked up to Kendall. Kendall was being awfully nice to him, which I thought was cute on his part. We walked through the doors to the studio as people greeted Kendall, while my dad walked behind Kendall and I as we approached the set of Kendall's show. I could see Carlos, James, Logan, and many of their costars. Logan was the first to see us. "Hey!" He greeted us walking up to me and giving me a hug then noticing my dad. Kendall had to go to hair and makeup, so I was left with Logan and my father.

"William, this is one of my best friends Logan. Logan, this is my father William." I told them. They greeted one another and were happy to talk to one another while Carlos walked up to me.

"Hey Bobby! Long time no see!" He said smiling and coming for a hug, as I giggled.

"Hey Carlos. What's up?" I asked him. He smiled.

"Not much! Congrats on the little one on the way and the engagement! Can't wait for the wedding, and Kendall's dancing." He teased. I laughed and touched his arm.

"Oh yes it should be interesting to see for what's not choreographed." I joked along side with him. My father and I sat watching behind the camera as Kendall and the boys did their thing. I had to say if I fell for any character the boys played, it'd be Kendall's, he was the most like his character, very kind and level headed. My dad and I got closer today which was really weird for me. He had this connection with me that no one but Kendall, Scott and Logan shared with me. It was refreshing.

The boys all got out early today from work and all wanted to go out to lunch. Carlos and James called their girlfriends as soon as filming ended and told them what was up. Logan, Kendall, and my dad all started to leave and were soon followed by the other two. We all driver separately and went to a restaurant not far from the studio. We all went inside. Logan and my dad talked Texas talk, while Kendall and Carlos talked about whatever themselves. That left Awkward silence between James and myself. "So, you're expecting?" James tried starting a conversation. I nodded nervously. It wasn't that I couldn't talk to him, it was just, I don't know. It was awkward, and I just didn't seem to know what to say to him. With Carlos, he did most of the talking for me and he made me laugh. Logan was just a go with the flow type person and so it was pretty easy to talk to him as well. Obviously Kendall and I talked all the time, but there was something with James that I couldn't find anything to say out loud to him. Kendall must've sensed the tension between his friend and me because his conversation with Carlos ended soon and it was just him and I again talking. I couldn't understand why, but I couldn't talk to James. I don't think there was a reason for that, but it was a possibility that he and I weren't able to talk because with him there were memories to how I wound up in the hospital.
