Chapter 61:
"You have to call him back..." Kendall said. I shook my head.
"No I can't. I can't do that. He didn't want me in his life, not until now. Kendall that's twenty one years later and he wants to meet me now? No I don't think so." I told him. Kendall had sat me down on the bed and had my hands in his.
"Bobby, you never know when you won't have the chance to meet him. Or talk to him. Why would you give up that chance?" He asked as if I was crazy. I pulled my hands away and stood up.
"I have to finish getting ready." I mumbled opening the door and walking into the bathroom, locking it along the way.
I put on heavy eye makeup, and then straightened my hair putting some accessories in that Kathy and Kent had given me. I had heard Kendall go downstairs. He didn't understand. I grew up without a dad, a dad whom didn't want me, or to be in my life. I wasn't going to act like I was okay with suddenly having a dad. That wasn't a part of my plan. Previous to three this morning, I was an orphan with no relatives, just a fiancé with an amazing family. I needed someone to talk to. Someone whom wouldn't judge me. Logan. I slowly and sneakily made my way to Kendall and mines room and picked up my phone. That number had called again. No, Bobby, do not call it, I told myself.
I dialed for Logan and eventually got him to pick up. "Hey! I'm in LA already!" Logan said probably smiling. It was way past six so it figures he'd be back.
"Logie, I have a problem." I told him.
"What? What do you mean?" He asked sounding worried. I could hear him shifting around on the other side of the phone. I took a breath and let it all out. I told him everything from texting him to checking my messages and then how I heard my fathers voice, speaking directly to me for the first time in my life.
"Logan you know how I never knew my dad?" I asked him.
"Yeah?" He answered immediately. I sighed closing my eyes. "He called me last night. I didn't have my phone when Kendall was ya know proposing, but he left a voicemail on my phone. He's in LA. He wants to meet me." I told him. The other side went quiet.
