Chapter 62:
"Oh my God!" Logan said on the phone. I sighed and laid back on the bed which Kendall must've made before going down stairs as I had just explained what my father had told me on the voicemail. "That's crazy! Are you excited or worried?" Logan asked. See, this is what I mean. Logan would consider your feelings first and not jump to what he thinks would be the best, unlike Kendall who basically says it's his way or the highway. But that's why I loved him.
"I think I'm going insane with Kendall yelling at me to call my dad back." I told him. He snickered and then sighed.
"Well I guess you could call him. There has to be a reason after all this time why he's trying to contact you." Logan said almost siding with Kendall but doing it in a hidden way.
"Should I really though?" I asked him.
"Yes ma'am." Logan said all cheery.
"Alright ill do it eventually. Maybe on the ride home, see ya in a few hours." I told him.
"See ya in a few. Love ya Bobby Boo." Logan said. I smiled to myself at my friends ability to actually make me feel better.
"Love ya Logie Bear."
I eventually walked downstairs to a little pig running up to me. "Yuma!" I exclaimed picking her up and holding her in my arms. The little pig snorted and sniffed my clothing. I walked into the kitchen running into Kevin. "Oy!" I said.
"Hey, you found Yuma." He said taking her from my arms while leaning in to kiss my cheek.
"Good morning everyone!" I exclaimed a little too giddy, making Kendall shoot me a confused look from the table. The rain outside was horrible, but I loved it today. Kathy held onto her chest while smiling at me. She made her way over and kissed both my cheeks while holding my head between her hands.
"I'm going to have a daughter!" She exclaimed with watery eyes. I smiled and hugged her. Kendall watched me as I made my rounds to his family and soon filled up my plate with what we were having for breakfast. We ate in good timing and helped clean up before having to go pack. "Are you sure you have to leave?" Kathy asked later as Kendall and I were suited up to venture out into the rain.
"It's not bye forever Kathy." I told her saying goodbye. Kendall and I ran hand in hand into the rain. He had already been out in it with Kevin and Kenneth putting our stuff into the car, and all we needed was to get on the road. Kendall started the car immediately so I could warm up. I still had a bit of my cold and wasn't going to get rid of it by running in the rain.
"You warm enough babe?" Kendall asked as we were on the highway.
"Yeah I am. Thanks." I told him. I was so nervous to call my dad but I figured it'd be better just Kendall and me driving, than at our house.
"Are you still mad at me?" Kendall asked me. I snorted, and turned my head to look at him.
"I could never stay mad for long." I told him sweetly. He smiled at me and held out his right hand while steering with his left. I put my hand with the ring in his as he looked at the ring.
"I can't believe you'll be mine." He whispered to me. I giggled as he kissed my ring finger, then looking back at the road.
"Hey Kendall?" I asked quietly a few moments after our little cute moment.
"Yes my love?" He asked keeping his eyes on the very wet road.
"I think I want to call my dad." I told him. He turned to look at me then nodded.
"Good, you should. I don't want you to miss out on anything." He said looking back at the road. I took in a sharp breath and then told him.
"Right now..." I said. He looked at me with an odd look and then nodded.
"Okay." He told me.
"Okay?" I asked. He nodded again. I reached into my boot and pulled out my phone. I dialed the number on my phone, and put it on speaker.
"Be brave." Kendall whispered to me. Just then the ringing stopped.
"Hello?"
