Chapter 29:
Awhile has passed, two days till Thanksgiving and Kendall and I were happy as ever. Most my injuries had healed, my arm being the only sign of Halloween's terror, but even that was coming to an end soon. I was scheduled to get my cast off today. I was sitting on the couch when I overheard Kendall on the phone. "Yes, I want to bring her. She's just not from a well developed family." Kendall said in his room. I wasn't angry he said that about my family, because even I knew I was from a broken family. I say quietly on my new twitter account reading through tweets and responding to rushers whom really seemed to like me, or liked more than Alexa and Halston that is.
"Kendall! Just tell them I can go with Heather and Scott's for Thanksgiving!" I yelled at him. Scott had finally done it. He proposed maybe a week before now. He had taken her on a walk on the beach on a weekend get a way with Kendall and I. She had came back in tears and hadn't suspected the time I took her ring window shopping as anything to worry about. She now had my ring size and style as well though. Heather was really one of my best friends, my only girl friend. Alexa and I tried hanging out once, but it just brought back too many memories for us to handle.
"No, babe. She's just excited to meet you and wants to know everything about you in one short conversation." He smiled poking his head out of his room. He smiled and held up one finger again disappearing. She? His mother most likely. Logan had told me what to expect from Kendall's family, even if they were sweet, kind hearted, and down to earth people, they could be overwhelming and intimidating at times. Kendall was sighing, walking out of his bedroom, his phone pressed to his ear. "Bobby, my mom has some questions. First one, are you allergic to anything?" Kendall asked putting his phone to his chest. I shook my head smiling. "She isn't allergic to anything.... Okay. Bobby are you picky about any type of food?" He asked rolling his eyes. I giggled.
"Does she just wanna talk to me?" I asked. His eyes bulged and he shook his head. I held up my hands as if I offended him. "No I'm not picky. Are you picky Mr. Organic?" I teased. Since I've been dating Kendall, all I eat is organic, and then when I hang out with Heather, Scott, or Logan, I cheat on my organic nature, but it wasn't like Kendall didn't notice the Chinese food smell on me one day when I got home from Heather's late. "Okay, love you too mom. Yes, we will be there at eight sharp. Okay! Love you. Tell dad I love him too. Okay. Bye." He said hanging up his phone and throwing himself on the couch next to me. I giggled and sat up before he could hit my arm.
"Soooo my whole family is going to my parents for thanksgiving. So I apologize in advance if you get questioned." He smirked. He brought my head close to his and smiled as he kissed me. We kissed for awhile then he pulled back. "I love you." He smiled even with his eyes. I smiled back and touched his face.
"I love you too." I said to him. "Hey I have a question..." I said as we were in his car on our way for my cast to come off.
"Yeah?" He asked one hand on the wheel, the other on my thigh.
"Christmas... Presents to one another?" I asked. Kendall nodded.
"I already have yours." He smirked in front of him.
"What? When did you get me a gift?" I asked him. He smiled.
"Ordered it, had it delivered at Logan's place." He said looking at me. His round sunglasses always reminded me of John Lennon's glasses, which made me think I was dating the modern day John Lennon.
"Sneaky.." I complimented. He smirked and puckered his lips. I smacked his arm. "Watch the road hoss. We need to see your mama and daddy in a day." I told him. He chuckled and squeezed my thigh. He drove me crazy, but I wasn't willing to give into his sexiness yet.
