Chapter 49:
"You missed out on so much as a kid!" Kenneth exclaimed laughing at my sad attempt at playing Monopoly with him and his family at the kitchen table listening to Christmas songs.
"Hey! Shut up! Not all of us live in a great environment like you!" I said back teasing him smiling.
"Kenneth be nice." Kathy said taking a bowl of chips and offering it to all of us. I sat next to Kevin who had one head of the table, and Kendall next to me, then Kent had the other head, and Kathy and Kenneth on the other side.
"Alright, I guess that's a reasonable excuse...." Kenneth said smirking. I rolled my eyes and took a sip of my hot chocolate while looking around the table.
"I win!" Kendall shouts looking down at the board. Yes, it was true, Kendall won monopoly.
"You cheated!" Kevin shouted obviously annoyed by his little brother winning.
"I'm going to go watch tv." Kent said smiling at us and patting Kendall on the back as he went back into the living room. Kenneth shortly followed him, as it was just Kendall, Kathy, Kevin, and myself left in the kitchen.
"Well, that was a sad game..." Kevin said throwing all the game pieces in the box. Kendall reached over and grabbed my hand and smiled at me. I smiled back.
"Hey, mom?" Kendall then asked turning to look at his mom who had gotten up and was messing with stuff in the kitchen.
"Yes sweetie?" She asked not looking up.
"Can we make cookies?" He asked smirking at me and poking me in the stomach. I giggled as she looked up and started grabbing sugar and flour.
"I assume so, it is that time of the night isn't it?" She asked smiling. It was six o'clock, so I was guessing we'd make cookies and then open presents from one another.
"COOKIES!!!!" Kevin shouted with his arms in the air like a little kid. He ran over to the counter and sat at the bar. Kendall and I shortly followed and giggled at Kathy trying to get the other two in the living room to come in. She didn't succeed.
"Looks like it's the four of us." Kendall announced smiling. Kathy mixed everything since the sad effort from Kevin, ended up getting flour everywhere.
"Okay, I think we're good. You kids can start cutting." Kathy said rolling out the dough in front of me since I was between Kendall and Kevin. She handed all the cookie cutters to us and smiled. Kendall immediately went to the Santa cut out, while Kevin aimed for the bells. I however grabbed the snowman. We cut out a huge amount of cookies and had five cookie sheets full. We waited patiently, at least I did, for the cookies to be cool after they were done baking. I had cut out four snowmen for a reason. I was going to decorate them all like me, Kendall, Logan, and Dustin. We started decorating immediately.
"What kind of Santa wears a blue suit?!" Kevin interrogated Kendall. Kendall laughed and held up his Santa which had a blue frosting suit.
"The best kind!" He said matter-of-factly pointing to his creation. I giggled and finished the Dustin cookie. He had a yellow guitar, blue glasses, red eyes, green hair, and a green mustache.
"Look! It's Dustin in a snowman's body!" I told them all. Kathy laughed taking a sip of her coffee. Kevin ignored it as Kendall laughed.
"You should take a pic and send that to him, he'd love it." He said rubbing my back for a minute.
"I have to finish his friends first!" I told him. I then did Logan, he had a red hat on backwards, blue eye, yellow mouth and dimples, with a green tank top. I giggled. "Logan." I announced to the fellow cookie makers. They all looked up and laughed.
"Who are the other two?" Kathy asked. I smiled secretly.
"You'll see." I told them. I did Kendall first as I was going to try to hide him as I did myself. Kendall had yellow hair, green eyes, a yellow smile, and a blue guitar. I hurried to do myself. I had red long hair, green eyes, a yellow smile, and blue dress with green dots. Everyone loved them.
"You and I are perfect even in cookie form!" Kendall said smiling and kissing me on the cheek.
