Chapter 93

Chapter 93:  

I got dressed quickly with Kendall's necklace around my neck, Kendall's ring on my finger, Kevin's bracelet, a short sleeved black V-neck, a red and black striped sleeveless cover which hung down around my mid thighs, then black jeans, and the grey combat boots with the rhinestone skulls Dustin had given me for Christmas. I hurried back down the hall after I did a fish tail braid with my hair down the side and put on a smokey eye make up. I knocked on the door to see Marilee with a huge amount of clothes all over the room. "I didn't know you brought so many clothes for a one night thing." I told her shutting the door behind me. She turned around her arms crossed across her chest.

"Oh my God how do you get ready everyday so fast and end up like that?!" Marilee shrieked angry. I giggled.

"Girl, just choose something. Logan isn't going to notice your clothes as long as you feel confident in them." I smiled at her.

"Shut up!" She told me. She went into the bathroom and changed again.

"What about this?" She asked. She had on white skinny jeans, white wedges that made her taller than me by a long shot, and probably taller than Logan, and she had on a like green high low tank top.

"Damn girl." I said teasingly. She rolled her eyes and looked at herself in the bathroom mirror. "Good enough." I told her as I walked in and did a waterfall braid and curled her hair.

"Thanks Boo." She thanked me as she stood up from the toilet where she had sat for me to do her hair.

She and I walked out of the hallway and into the kitchen/dining room/entry way, you could see over the bar into the living room where the three males were seated. I stopped by the door once I heard a knock and then I could hear Marilee's giggling. Great, someone was flirting with her. I opened the door to my father with a huge box. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLIN'!" He exclaimed. I stepped aside smiling as he handed me the box and kissing my cheek.

"Thanks dad." I smiled.

"Marilee, Kendall and the guys are in the living room." I told him. He nodded making his way into the living room. I took a hold of the present in a better way and carried it into the living room to see Dustin, then Logan, then Marilee on the big couch, Kendall alone on the love seat and my dad in the single chair watching Marilee and Logan intensely.

I brought the present in and then set it down on the coffee table where a smaller phone book sized box was that I hadn't seen there before. "And who's gift to me is that?" I asked. Logan raised his hand and smirked.

"Open them!" Marilee told me. I sighed and looked at Logan then my dad.

"Which one first?" I asked.

"Do mine first." My dad said smiling. I nodded and sat on the edge of the couch cushion with Kendall leaning in as well. I slowly ripped off the paper to reveal an unmarked white box that was the same width as the coffee table and one third of the length. I opened the box peeling back the tape and was surprised by how my dad wrapped this.
